Alain's P.O.V

My boss called me up after I'm done battling. I was still contemplating if I should ask y/n to join us to Hoenn. I know Mairin would be happy to go, but I'm not sure with y/n. I know being champion is really important to her. Ughh.. I finally reached the room. I opened the door and I was stunned. I saw Mairin and y/n in the room with Lysandre. How did they find this place?

"WE'RE GOING TO HOENN" Mairin shouted

"Yes, you all are going to Hoenn tomorrow. I'm leaving tonight. For now let's eat lunch" Lysandre said with the sudden change of emotion

We were eating lunch together. Mairin kept talking about y/n's battles, the one in the gym and one with some guy named Ross. I noticed y/n was awfully quiet. She usually tells Mairin to stop over exaggerating or something. Is it about going to Hoenn? I also noticed y/n's absol would often glare or growl at Lysandre.

*Few minutes later*

Lysandre left saying he heading to Hoenn already and that the three of us should go back and start packing. Lysandre made us take the long way back to the pokemon center, because he didn't want to reveal the secret entrance in the red cafe. We finally reached the pokemon center. We did our usual routine. Y/n and I will battle or train, then we release all of our pokemon to relax or play together or Mairin will brush them. We had dinner, then we headed to our rooms to start packing and went to sleep. Y/n and Mairin shared a room, while I have my own room. I couldn't sleep. There were too much thoughts inside my head like the discovery of the mystery stone in Hoenn, y/n decision to go to Hoenn, y/n, and more things. I decided to get some fresh air and walk outside. I heard a familiar voice talking outside.

"Come on absol. Please tell me why were you growling. Act it out or something. You don't usually do that. I'll give you a treat. What am I doing? I look crazy. Maybe it's just a pokemon thing. Absol, you can sense auras and bad things right? Maybe the next time I see Lysandre I would release Lucario...." The voice kept rambling

I walked silently, so she won't hear me. I was going closer, until I stepped on a twig and it snapped. I heard absol growl.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" The voice asked

"It's just me, Alain" I replied

I saw y/n sitting on a bench, and beside her was absol. The moonlight delicately showed the beautiful features of her face.

"Oh my gosh. Was he listening to me?" I heard her mumble

I laughed. I noticed her face turning a light shade of red.

"You couldn't sleep?" I asked to change the topic

"Ya. It's just there's too much thoughts in my head. You?"

"Same"

"Sit here" y/n patted on the space beside her

I sat beside her

"I'm sorry for like doubting your boss. I know he's your boss and all" she said while facing down

"It's ok. I also get little weird feeling about him, but he helped me so much, I can't think that way. So when did you meet Lysandre?"

"Oh, I was battling Ross and he knew Mairin and he also knew me because of your stories. Also stop over exaggerating. He then invited us to go with him to see you. By the way, nice battle technique." y/n commented

"Huh, sorry for copying your technique" I said sheepishly

"It's fine"

"I have another question. Why did you choose to come with us to Hoenn? I know being champion is important to you, and it's ok if you don't come"

"Lysandre said that the tournament will be in 3 or 5 months, I forgot. I still have plenty of time to get my last three badges. Thanks for the concern" y/n looked at me and smiled

I felt my cheeks warm up. I notice that our faces were not the far apart. I saw her absol nudging her to get closer.

"Oh my gosh, I forgot to pack some stuff" y/n blurted

I heard  her absol huff

"Well, Goodnight Alain. See you tomorrow" Y/n said

I saw her walk back to her room with her absol following her. Half of my thoughts are gone, and it's getting kinda late. I should go to sleep. I went back to my room and fell asleep.

*Next Day*

Our plane finally landed. We are already in Hoenn. We went down the plane and exited the airport. Mairin was so amazed she and chespie ran around outside, until she a guy with silvery hair. Y/n and I rushed beside Mairin to help her.

"I'm so sorry sir" Mairin apologized

"It's ok" The silver hair guy replied

He looked up

"Y/n?" He asked

"Steven?!?!" y/n replied quite shock

This chapter is more romantic, I guess. Ooh you finally landed at Hoenn and you see a familiar face *wink* *wink*. Do you think this story is progressing too slow or too quick? Is it too detailed or not that detailed? Please let me know. Why does absol not trust Lysandre? Why were you in Alain's thought? 

Anyway, thanks for all your kind comments and votes. I'm actually a shy person, and the comments kinda boosts my confidence, so thanks. I will update every Saturday or really erly in the morning Sunday. I'm sorry in advance if I don't update because I'm either lazy, stressed out, tired, or depressed because of school.
