Fun in the Snow

Your P.O.V

Dendemille Town was quiet little place. There was a few things to do, and most of them involved skating. We bought some winter clothes, then were about to leave the pokemon center and head to frost cavern. Before we left, Alain still had to talk to his boss. Clingy much, I thought to myself. I went to buy some supplies like potion, revives, and others. I healed up my pokemon. I released absol from his pokeball. It's nice to see that absol started to warm up to Mairin. When I mean warm up, he actually allows Mairin to brush his fur. That's progress

"Hey y/n, why do you want to go to frost cavern?" Mairin asked

"I just want to train" I answered

"You're becoming more like Alain" She pouted

"I'm not sure if that's an insult or not" I said

We both laughed. I would also like to say I'm starting to get closer with Mairin. Mairin may be annoying at sometimes, but I learned to tolerate it. Alain on the other hand, he so secretive. He's there for 5 minutes, then next thing you know he's gone. I also thought bout why Lysandre wanted me to join Alain's mission. Alain approached us, and I just shrugged the thought away.

"Yay! Let's go" Mairin shouted

We started to walk through Dendemille Town, it was quite chilly. We passed by it's famous windmill. Mairin kept talking about she will play in the snow. She also kept slipping on the icy floors.

"We will first play in the snow, and maybe I can catch my third pokemon" Mairin said

Her pokemon were chespin and her flabebe

"I don't think it's advisable to do that" Alain stated

"Why?" Mairin asked

"There's a rampant abomasnow in frost cavern" He said

"Oh" Mairin and I said disappointingly

"Well we can always climb the mountain" I suggested (Just pretend there is a mountain to climb)

"Okay" Mairin shouted

We walked to the foot of the mountain. It's a good thing we bought climbing gear.

"Let's have race, the first one to go to the top" Mairin pointed to the top that was quite far

I looked at Alain worriedly. He looked at me with the same face. Knowing Mairin, she might slip and fall.

"It's too dangerous" Alain and I said shockingly in unison

  I heard Alain mumble something, I didn't quite understand, but his cheeks started to get red.  

"No fair. I will be careful. I have chespie with me" She puffed up her cheeks

"Chespie" her chespin approved

"Fine" Alain and I said

We started to race who could get to the top first. We buckled to ourselves to our ropes, then started to climb. Absol was just leaping from ledge to ledge. Alain was ahead, by a lot. Well, that boy is strong. I blushed realising what I just thought. I checked on Mairin, she quite far below. Luckily, her chespie was their to help her. It took a while until we reached the top. The mountain wasn't that high. Absol reached the top first, followed by Alain. I was almost at the top, and I saw Alain's hand trying to help me up. I grabbed me, and he pulled me up.

"Thanks" I smiled warmly to him

"You're welcome" He scratched the back of his neck

We then checked on Mairin. She was quite far. Chespie will jump from ledge to ledge, and carry her using vine whip. She finally reached the top.
