You watched as the clock on the wall ticked, you were waiting for Midnight when you'd see Misa and you'd form a plan. L decided to tag along too, so he knew the plan and you didn't have to explain.

There was a knock on the door ams L opened it. Misa saw you and rushed over.

"AYANO!" She exclaimed, pulling you into a hug.

"Hey Misa"

"THANK GOD YOU'RE OK!"

"I'm fine, and I just call me (y/n) now. Everyone knows the name anyway"

"So this is what you look like as a Reaper" she said.

"Yeah, its mandatory clothing when you're new"

"Not too shabby for a reaper"

You all sat down and got down to business.

"So L is immortal to the Death Note now. But we also have to catch Kira. I know you love Light, maybe we can arrange something?" You said.

"I know you two have to catch him... but, I do like Kira for punishing the robber that killed my parents... could you let me see him in prison?" Misa said.

"We'd have to take any Deaths Notes you may have and keep watch on you during visit time. You'd also be arrested for being the second Kira but your punishment will be different" L explained.

"I don't care, I just have to see Light when he's locked up..."

"We can do that" you said.

Misa smiled at you.

"Thank you!"

"Anyway, what's the plan?" L asked.

"Rem told me that Light will make his move when the yotsuba papers are filed and the Death Note is in your possession. What I think is, when L doesn't die, it will spark some kind of reaction from Light. So when he gets his reaction is when you come in and explain everything about the death. It will send light into shock and he'll snap" Misa said.

"Sounds good... you're really taking one for the team here Misa. I owe you" you said.

"Well there's another issue... do we say you faked your death or do we say you're a reaper?" L said.

"I'd much rather say I faked it, but they saw me shoot myself, they saw me bleed all over the floor and die in impact. I doubt they'd believe its fake" you said.

"Well, how about you decide what to say when you reveal yourself" L said.

"Yeah, I think I'll do that"

"So it's a plan?" Misa said.

"Yep, it's a plan"

"Well it all happens on the 5th of November, be ready" she said.

"A week, will be more than enough time to prepare"

"This is it guys, this all goes well and the case will close" L said.

"Let's hope it goes well then"
