"I had a great time." Stefan smiled as he walked me to my door.
"Me too. I'll think of you as a date for the next founder's event." I winked.
"So did you used to go to these things with Tyler or?"
"Since we were 8. We used to he best friends and things just went down hill when we got together."
He grinned. "I'd be happy to be a replacement."
I was gonna kiss him. Tonight.
But when I leaned in, he looked away, not facing me.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Something in my eye again."
I shrugged. "Look at me."
"I'm not gonna kiss you tonight." He said.
"And why not?"
"We'd be moving too fast."
I turned him around. His eye seemed better.
I kissed him anyway.
"I like fast." I smiled.
He sighed. "You'll be the death of me, Luna Taylor." He chuckled.
He kissed me again.
"Now, you have an amazing night."
"You too." I went inside.
"How was the ball?" Asked Nana.
"Stefan is a real gentleman. Definitely taking him to other events."
"Good, good. Cookies and milk?"
"I'm actually gonna go to bed. Big test tomorrow and practice after school."
"Alright, honey. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Adam laid on my bed.
"You have a room!" I said, kicking him out.
"Alright, alright." He smirked.
I laid down. I had 3 missed calls from an unknown number.
I called them back.
"Hello?"
"I missed your voice already."
I smiled and laughed. "Hello Stefan."
"Hi."
"How'd you even get my number?"
"Bonnie."
"Of course. Well, I'm going to bed, but it was good talking to you for about 20 seconds."
"Bye honey."
That night, I dreamt about Stefan. How I wanted a relationship with him badly.

"Good morning." I told Bonnie.
"Morning love. Stefan isn't here today."
I frowned.

That repeated for a week.

"Nana, I'll be back. I'm going for a drive, I won't be long."
"Okay, honey. Be back before 9." She replied. Yes, I was going for a drive.
Stefan mentioned he lived at the old boarding house. Surely my GPS  could find it.

I knocked on the huge door.
"Hel— Luna!" Stefan pulled me in a large hug. "I was hoping you'd get the idea of coming to find me, since I haven't been in school."
"I was worried about you." I smiled. "Why haven't you been in school?"
He frowned. "Come in."
I followed him inside the huge house.
"Your house is so beautiful." I awed.
"Thanks. Want a beer?"
"Um, sure. Why not?"
He opened it and handed it to me.
"I haven't been in school because my uncle passed away."
"Awe, I'm so sorry Stefan!" I hugged him and kissed his cheek.
"Just please, for the love of all that is holy, do not tell anyone. Rumors would stir up. My uncle passed, we had a private funeral with just me and Damon, no one knows. I'm gonna live on my own with Damon now, since Zach isn't here to take care of us anymore."
"Is that even legal? Since he's not a legal guardian and you're not 18?"
"That's why you can't tell anyone."
"Do you want anything?"
"I'm fine." He smiled. "I can live on my own, trust me. Damon is going to be a royal pain, but that's how it's always been."
"How'd Zach die?"
He paused before answering. "Lung Cancer."
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." I hugged him again and burried my face in his neck.
"You're gonna be okay?" I asked.
"Promise." He smiled and kissed me once more.
"Will you two make it official already?" Damon scoffed.
"Brother..."
"I'm just getting some Scotch, then I'll be back up to my room. Damn."
Once he got upstairs, Stefan took my hand.
"He has a point. I wanted a good life here, I think I could have it if you were my girlfriend."
"I'd love to." I kissed him. Again. And again, and again, and again. Until somehow we made it to his room, and it was 10:30 at night.
"Damn it! My Nana is going to be so worried, I'm dead. And so is my phone."
"Call her from mine." He handed it to me and I dialed.
"Hello? Hello?"
"Nana, it's me, Luna."
"Oh my god! You little girl, you have scared me half to death, waiting up all night for you! Your grandfather may just give you the belt, you foolish child! Adam over here almost in tears!"
"Grandma, slow down. I fell asleep waiting on a hill, just watching the sunset and then the stars. I'm going to stay the night at Bonnie's, okay?"
"You better be at school on time tomorrow morning. I'm so glad you're safe."
"I love you Nana."
"I love you too. Don't ever scare me like that again!" She hung up.
He laughed. "So she's cool with the whole staying the night thing?"
"She thinks I'm with Bonnie. I hate lying to her, but she'd never approve if I stayed with you."
"What are you gonna do about getting ready in the morning?"
"I'll sneak into my window around 5 am."
He smiled. "You're so bad."
I shrugged. "I just like to live." I kissed him and yawned.
"You should get some sleep."
"Oh, so no one's getting frisky tonight?" Damon said in the doorway.
"Did I ever tell you how much I hate you, Damon? Let me rephrase that. How often do I tell you?"
He chuckled. "Bye Luna."
Stefan chuckled. "Just sleep, love."
