"What!?" I asked my father again. Because I am not sure I heard him right. Dinner with investors and Gold family.
"You heard me Marco. Linda, Christopher's secretary called today and told us that they reserved dinner for tonight with us and Japanese investors in Benini Restaurant. They don't take a no for an answer. Because of this dinner Japanese investors cancelled the meeting we had at 15 o'clock." my father said in a very pissed off mood.
"You can't be serious. I can't believe this. What's their plan?" I said frustrated.
"I don't know son. When I asked Linda what is he planning, she told me that this is not his order. " my father said in thinking mood.
"Could it be that Sharon Moreno is behind this?" I asked my father.
"I don't think so. Christopher never let anyone to deal with his business. It's not important anymore, because we'll attend this dinner with them tonight and then we will see their plan. We will set this deal with those Japanese investors, not them." my dad said with determined look.
"We'll see tonight what happens. I'll call mother to inform her about this." I said leaving the office.
Dinner starts in about two hours. Currently I am home. Trying to decide what to wear. At the end I picked royal blue cocktail dress. The dress practically screams power and importance. It looks simple, but when I'm wearing this dress, it is pure perfection. This dress still isn't in sale. It will be in the beginning of the next year. Oh perks of knowing so many people. I thought to myself. With dress I combined gold necklace with gold bracelet. I wore black 5 inch pumps and small black letter purse. And finally I put a little bit of a make up on my face. When I looked at the clock I saw it's 19:07 o'clock. Till I get to the Restaurant it will be 19:40 give or take a few minutes. Just the way I like it. Fashionably late I thought to myself.
Now it's 19:39 and everybody is already here. Rina what are you planning now, I thought.
"Christopher may I know what are they doing here?" Sharon asked me with an impatient look on his face.
"We are here to talk business of course." I told Sharon trying to calm her down.
"I'm sorry I'm late." I heard my daughter saying. Finally, what took her so long?
Katherina's POV.
"I'm sorry I'm late." I said.
Everybody stopped talking when I said that. I saw dad and Eric with Sharon and Ashley on his left. Across from them were that guy from this morning who bumped into me with his family, so that means he is De Luca. And at the end of the table I saw Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Ikeda. That means they are the Japanese investors who are that important. I saw surprise on their faces, I can't say that I am not surprised seeing them here.
