Peter took the Dravenkin into the back so he could trim their hair.

"That was really smooth, Mister Starchaser, um Mister Starchaser?" Don asked.

Peter slammed his head in the wall.

"What. Have. I. Done?" Peter then sank to the same crouch Wendy was just in.

"I just did what Cal told me to do, except I kissed her lips instead of her forehead. I couldn't help myself she was so close. Did I just screw everything up? Oh Gods, Cal what do I do now? I can't possibly show my face to her again now. Why did he make me say something so embarrassing, Wendy is going to kill me for sure now."

"Dude, he doesn't look so hot," Clu whispered as Peter continued his anxious ramble.

"Seeing this, I can truly believe they were made for each other." Dinus responded.

Webs placed a hand on Peter's shoulder. When Peter looked over Webs gave him a comforting smile.

"Do you think I was okay?" Peter asked.

Webs responded with a simple thumbs up.

"Webs is right mister Starchaser, you were awesome." Don said.

It took them a while but they finally talked Peter up enough to get a proper haircut.

"Dammit, what is he up to know?" Fauna fumed as she went to the west gate. She had no illusions as to who might be the cause of it.

Cal.

In all honesty there was no way I could be anyone but him. She looked over at Shayley who was in a surprisingly good mood.

When they approached the gate they were met by a huge crowd.

Fauna sighed, but her attention was grabbed when Shayley approached an elemental she hadn't met before.

"Hi Dakota, what are you doing here?" Shayley asked.

Dakota got all flustered and tried to hide something from view. "Oh, good morning. Princess. I'm just here to see someone." He scratched his nose nervously.

"Is that right? Are you here to see Cal?"

Dakota looked surprised, "the captain is here?" Then he cursed under his breath, "Tch, why is the captain here?"

"What was that?"

"Oh, nothing. I was just wondering why you're here?" he laughed nervously.

There was a crash of thunder, and from behind Shayley, Fauna pointed her thumb to the source of the noise beyond the gate.

"That's him?" Dakota suddenly looked tired.

"Who else would it be?" Fauna looked just as tired.

"He's so exciting!" Shayley swooned. In the background Fauna gagged a little causing Dakota to chuckle, but Shayley had slipped into her own world.

Fauna had her work cut out for her since Cal had been around. Not only when he worked her to death while training his guildmates, but when she got back Shayley had a to-do list that spanned the length of the city.

She also grit her teeth against her rising blood remembering when he grabbed her and threw that dagger at the foe that she hadn't even realized was behind her. "Tch, that elf."

Lost to her excitement Shayley got a running start and jumped over the crowd.

"My lady!"

Fauna grit her teeth. She grabbed Dakota, "you had someone to see right! Well let's go!"
