Alea ignored the crowd gathering around her as she stared down the stoic lightening elemental.

Siegfried tapped his shoulder with his sword. "Skills or no skills?"

Alea grimaced, "don't hold back."

"Very well. I shan't dishonor your pride, Senpai."

Siegfried placed his sword in his mouth and pulled on two gloves with metal plates on the backs. After he pulled the sword from his mouth, he then flicked his head sliding his mask into place.

"Polaris." Siegfried released hundreds of small rectangular plates from his clothes. They orbited around him sparking from time to time.

"Storm." Alea's hair whipped as the wind around her condensed and took the shape of green ringlets that swirled around her.

"I'll be honest Senpai, I've never actually fought to my fullest yet. But I'd like to earn my title as the best sword if it's all the same to you."

"I'm the best and that's all there is too it."

"Please don't hate me when you lose, senpai."

"Enough talk."

Alea brandished her swords and disappeared. The next moment she was in front of Siegfried. He had blocked both her swords with his blade and the bottom of the hilt.

She jumped back.

Alea noticed something off about her swords. They were weighed down by the plates throwing the balance off.

"I thought I you said don't hold back." Siegfried's calculated steps were like a dance and his spun through the air like a propeller. With every swing of his sword, the electrical charges and polarity in the air changed partially controlling Alea's swords.

Alea gripped her swords and met Siegfried with a brilliant light show as their swords sparked. Her once precise speed was hindered, her experience made up for some of the slack, but it was only barely enough to keep up with Siegfried.

"Twenty on home boy," Zeus mused.

"I'll raise you thirty on Yvette's girl." Odin bumped his fist with Zeus.

Yvette clicked her tongue but couldn't hide her blush from her giggling sister.

"I can't believe your betting at a time like this." Don gave them a disapproving grunt while holding a bag of coins, "thirty on Evie's girl."

"Evie's girl." Clu placed a heavy hand on Odin's shoulder.

Webs held up a bag of coins and nodded at Zeus.

Dinus crashed onto the balcony. "Bets, oh oh, put me down for Wonder boy!"

"How utterly shameful," Wendy's authoritarian presence was easily felt as she stood behind the gamblers. Even though they couldn't see her disapproving glare, that didn't mean they weren't covered in a cold sweat. "Losers are on dishes tonight."

The boys panicked and began cheering on the two elementals.

"Oh my..." Tiki smiled while tilting her head. "Alea sure has her work cut out for her." She snapped her fingers and created a barrier around the café. As soon as she did the fighting picked up and debris hit the barrier.

"I do hope the owner comes back soon..." one of the customers commented.

Wendy laughed at that, the stoic head maid actually broke her composure and laughed. "If you think our Guildmaster wouldn't be the loudest egging them on then you'd be wrong." She wiped away a tear.
