(I just want you to take a minute to appreciate my rhyming title. I'm proud of myself. Enjoy!)

Tuesday morning my alarm goes off and I groan. I click the off button and get out of bed. I walk to my bathroom and brush my teeth and hair. After I do that I go to my closet. I grab a long sleeved white shirt, a grey sweatshirt that said 'GEEK' in black letters, skinny jeans, and silver combat boots.

I put them on, grab my phone and backpack and go downstairs

I put them on, grab my phone and backpack and go downstairs.

"Morning, Hanny." I tell Hannah who is playing dolls on the floor of the kitchen.

"Morning, sissy!" She says, her blue eyes twinkling. I grab a banana and go to the front porch to wait for Kyle. He came out in about ten minutes in a grey t-shirt and jeans. I get up and we walk in silence to his car. When we get in I turn the radio on. 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars comes on and Kyle and I turn to each other before breaking into song. We sing at the top of our lungs for the five minutes it takes to get to the school.

We get there and I jump out of the car and go to my locker. As I put my bag in my locker my phone buzzes in my back pocket.

"Whatcha doing?" Cassie asks from beside me

"Whatcha doing?" Cassie asks from beside me.

"Texting my idiot of a boyfriend." I mumble turning my phone off.

"I can hear you, babe." Blake says from where he is standing about 10 lockers away from mine. I shrug and turn back to Cassie.

"So, I'm going out with Kyle tonight and I need your help getting ready. Can you come over after school?" She asks.

"Yeah. I have cheer practice but I would love to skip." I say smiling.

"You're not skipping cheer." Dad says walking by.

"But, Daddy!" I groan.

"Don't 'But, Daddy' me, missy. I told you it was the cheer squad or the football team." He says stopping by me.

"Can I quit cheer and join the football team?" I ask him.
