Hamilton liked Eliza. A lot. They were completely head over heels for each other.

They had been subtle about their relationship with their friends; not wanting them to make a big deal out of something possibly small.

Alexander had asked Eliza out on a date after being introduced to her by Angelica, her older sister.

Alex had never met the Schuylers before that night in the coffee shop, only having heard about them from Burr back when they were roommates. He spoke highly, yet somehow degradingly of them. He had never understood Burr.

They had another sister; Peggy. All he knew of her was that she dated this girl in one of his classes; Maria Lewis. He'd seen her waiting outside the classroom for her girlfriend. They were cute together.

At first, when he met Angelica; he was so close to falling for her. He was floating an inch above the floor where he would land, but instead, he was pulled up; just to be dropped into another hole a minute later, and that time; he fell.

He liked Angelica though; he liked talking to her about everything; their conversations were almost as thrilling as the one he had with Jefferson.

But he loved Eliza, he had realized after only a week of being with her.

He was in love with her, and he was just about to tell her.

They were sitting in the library.

The Princeton library was larger than most Alexander had ever been in, and he was still getting used to having all this information around him.

He was still trying to read every single book in there before he graduated. It was getting a little hard, with being pre-law and things.

"Eliza." He started.

Eliza looked helpless as she looked at the man in front of her, waiting for him to speak.

"I don't know how to say this; I know it's too soon. I know we haven't been going out for longer than what? A week?" Eliza nodded.

"What I'm trying to say, Elizabeth Schuyler that is I love you more than I ought; more than is consistent with my peace."

Eliza stared at him; then smiled.

"You talk too much." She then stated,

He was going to respond, possibly in paragraphs as he did but she cut him off with her lips smoothly touching his.

They were so in love.
