"Desean..." I was yawning and rubbing my eyes a little. I didn't hear him or see him
Hmm..he probably went out for a little while...
I walked towards the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water before plopping down on the couch to watch tv. I heard my phone buzzing on the living room table. I rolled my eyes and reached for it
Me: Hello?????
Cordell: hey, I heard you was out the hospital, I went up there this afternoon to see if you needed anything and the nurses told me you left last night???
Me: yeah...they discharged me, I'm okay though
Cordell: where are you? You back home?
Me: ehh sort of..
Cordell: you at your moms?
Me: nooo
Cordell: yo old house?
Me: noo, I'm at Desean place
Cordell: oh....well I'm glad you safe and everything, you sure you don't need me to come get you or anything

I hanged up the phone, I sat my phone back down and sighed

I pulled up into parking lot of the cafe I was meeting kae at. I didn't know how to really explain to her that not only did I cheat on her with my ex, it's a possiblity my ex might have my child...this shit not gonna be easy.
I hopped out the car and shut the door, I seen kae sitting down inside the cafe with her back turned, I took a deep breath and braced myself for the shit about to go down. I walked inside and walked towards the table she was sitting at
"Hey baby" she looked at me and smiled, she went in for a kiss and I just hugged her
"Everything okay?" She raised her eyebrow at me
"Yeah everything's cool...we just need to talk" I sat down and looked into her eyes
"Is it about meeting my parents?" She looked at me and smirked. "Trust me my dad isn't that bad, he just protective that's all" she chuckled a little
