Her footsteps echoed shakily throughout the frozen room as she let out uneven breaths. She clutched her chest in desperation. Water. She needed water. Her paces quickened unnaturally, stamping her feet violently on the ruined carpet (which was inhabited by minuscule ice crystals.) She started to scream, the most broken screams you could ever imagine, as all of the tiny hairs on her skin (the was paper-white) stood up straight. Soon the screams turned into agonising cries. No one could hear this damaged little girl- only she wasn't a little girl anymore. She was a young woman. That's the thing she struggled to remember in this little room.
