Love?

Is it possible to be so scared of something that you feel like you could just die right on the spot? You could just stink into the floor and never return back?

I think so, because that's what I feel like doing right now.

I sit there and look down at the carpet that was beneath us both. We haven't spoke a word within the last few minutes, I knew he needed me to say something first, but I didn't know what to say.

I wanted to tell him how I felt, but I didn't want to hurt him either. I knew he had already been hurting, you could just tell by the way he stood and looked.

His eyes were focused on the carpet too, he didn't dare look up until my mouth opens to speak.

"I don't know what to say Ace." I confess, shrugging like usual.

"Just tell me the truth, that's all I want." He says, his glare softens as it hits me.

My heart beats faster than usual, I exhale out to calm it down.

There was so much to say, so much for him to know how I felt. Yet I didn't have the balls to say one little thing.

He slowly walks towards me, a wave of nerves hits me as he sits close, right next to my still alive body.

"You don't have to be nervous Kitten." His hand gently glides onto my leg.

I look at him and frown, "Yet I do,"

He shakes his head softly, I grab his hand and take it off of my leg before I stand up.

"You don't understand."

"Then let me understand Kitten."

I run my hands through my hair as I walk over to the window and look out at the front yard.

"Because as of right now, I'm just as confused as you are."

"You're confused?!" I scoffed and turned around to face him. "How can you be confused?– you're the one who put me in this position that we're in right now."

"I get that.."

"I don't think you do Ace," I roll my eyes at his stupidity. "I don't think you do at all."

My sigh echoes throughout the room as I turn back around and face the window. This time I don't look out, I just stare down at the floor.

So much to say.... yet none of it came out.

"Let me get one thing straight," He announces, I knew he stood up. "You blame me for this don't you?" He asks.

I knew it would hurt him as much as it judged me to admit, so I keep quiet.

"Don't you?" But he asks again and grabs onto my arm, forcefully turning me around.

I don't dare look in his eyes as he tries to get in contact with mine. He soon scoffs at my quietness and let's go of me.

"I get it.." He mumbles and walks off. My eyes look up at his back as he stands in the middle of the room.
