Moment I Knew

-2 Weeks Later/Christmas week-
Jess loved Christmas, she always did, today she was having a Christmas Eve party since it was also her birthday, she was so excited.

There was nothing that could ruin her moment, not even Colby who was at work but would fly in for the party

She had all the decorations up and was now gonna get ready for the party

Colby said he'd be there before midnight so maybe if she dressed up in a dress he loved on her, maybe he'd love her again

So she put on her black dress that accentuated all her curves and edges and made her look absolutely beautiful, she straightened her hair and put on a light layer of makeup, applying Colby's favourite red lipstick and a pair of gold high heels and she walked down when the doorbell rang, she ran a little and opened the door, smiling widely at Jon and Joe

"Hi guys," she said, giving each of them a tight hug and taking the champagne bottle from Joe

"Are we the first ones here?" Jon asked, looking around the empty house

"Yeah, I told you guys 8, it's 7," Jess replied chuckling as she went to put the champagne on ice

"I told you your watch was fast," Jon said, hitting Joe's shoulder

"So where's the douche?" Jon asked, flinching as that earned him a hit from Joe

"He's flying out for tonight, he got snowed in," she replied, making margaritas for the boys

Jon and Joe shared a look and sighed, she was gonna be real disappointed.

The party was now in full swing, everyone she invited was here, expect the one she wanted to be here more than anything

She was running around tending to everyone

"Hi Randy," she cheered, leaning in to give the tattooed man a tight hug

"How've you been sweetie?" He asked, kissing her cheek

"Been good, how're you?" She asked

"Good, good," he replied with a broad smile

"Jessica," she heard the unmistakable voice of one, John Cena

She turned to the man who stood with Randy

"John," she replied, hugging him

"Good to see you, how are you?" He asked, smiling politely

"Been okay and you and Nicole?" She replied, returning his pleasantries

"She's good, she's spending with her family today," he said smiling

Jessica nodded politely, her eyes continuously shifting to the door

She stood in the middle of the room, feeling alone, she wanted him to be here so bad. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves except her

She quietly made a hasty escape to the bathroom, hoping nobody noticed, but she was wrong as a certain Samoan and Ohioan followed her hasty path

"Jess," Jon said, walking into the bathroom, followed by Joe, they both stooped to where she was sitting on the closed toilet with her head in her hands

"Sweetcheeks," Jon whispered

She raised her head and Jon and Joe gasped. She was crying alot

"He said he'd be here." She cried into Jon's shirt as he hugged her as Joe rubbed her back
