Explaining The Album

"So we're here with Jessica Evans, who just released her new album 'A Billion Reasons,' welcome Jessica,"

"Thanks very much, it's a pleasure to be here coming down from such a high," Jess said with a smile

"So you just released your new album at midnight and already it's flown to number 1 on the US Billboards, with over 400 million downloads in a span of 2 hours," he said and Jess grinned

"It's the fans man, I wouldn't be anywhere without them, they got the word out and got it trending and when it came down to the wire man, they delivered," she said chuckling

"They sure did, your album has how many songs?" He asked

"19 in total," she replied, pushing her hair behind her ear

"19 songs?" The interviewer asked

"Yeah, it's alot more than traditional albums but I'm proud of it," she replied

"No, no it's an amazing album, I just downloaded it but the fans have made certain assumptions about some of the songs," he began as Jess nodded

"They've said the song 'Breathe' and 'State of Grace' is about WWE Superstar, Dean Ambrose," he said looking at Jess

"That's what I like about the album, the thing about it is that it's open to all sorts of interpretation," she said, knowing fully well she wrote those two songs for Jon

"So they're not about him?"

"Umm, I'm not saying they're not and I'm not saying they are. Again, open to interpretation," she said again with a smile

"Fair enough. So what's this album about?"

"Well as you all know my boyfriend cheated on me. We're okay now. I love him and I obviously gotta love him if I took him back. But he did. And as a way of coping, I turned that pain into art that people are seeming to love and I'm really proud of the album," she replied

"The songs on the album are?" He asked

"In that order," she replied with a smile

"That order, was that planned?"

"Yeah, the order of the songs relay the order of the events that took place. I think it helps the listener in understanding the mood of each stage," she answered

"Go out and get this album guys, it's truly amazing and well put together, A Billion Reasons, available on ITunes and Spotify,"

"Thank you for being here Jessica, congrats on the album, you smashed it."

"Thanks for having me." She replied

After a further 10 minutes in the studio, she left and as she was walking to her car, the phone rang, she smiled seeing "Jon❤🔥" and a selfie they took together show up

"Hello?" She answered

"Are they about me?" He immediately asked

"What?" She asked puzzled

"Breathe and State of Grace, are they about me?" He elaborated and asked again

"Yes." She replied with a sigh

There was roughly 2 minutes of silence until he replied

"Okay." and hung up

Jess stared at the phone and rubbed her temples.

'This was gonna be a long month,' she thought as she walked to her car and got in, starting it
