"I don't even care anymore that she has bullied me for 4 years, I feel sorry for Mandy." I say
---awkward silence---
"Anyways! So........how is Matthew?" She says with a smirk
"I forgot I told you about him." I say as I roll my eyes
"Clara's ok with your relationship right?"
"Ya, she's moved on. Plus she knows we're both gay so ya."
"You mean she knows that MATTHEW is gay." Anne says putting emphasis on Matthew
I roll my eyes as Anne leaves the room.
---the next day---
I walk to my locker to kiss Matthew but come to find him having a conversation with Clara and Mandy.
"Hey, what's up!" I say putting on a fake smile
"Hey! Do you mind if Mandy hangs out with us?" Matthew says smiling
"Sure, the more the merrier." I say. I meant it when I said that, but what I'm not sure if I actually wanna start something new with Mandy or if I am just doing this because I pity her.
---one month later---
It's been a month since Mandy started eating with us and I still haven't gotten used to it. The more we hung out, the less connected I felt with Matthew and Clara. Right now, I feel like Mandy a barrier separating me from Clara and Matthew.
"ASHER!!" Clara yells as she attempts to retrieve my attention
"Huh?" I raise my brows in confusion
"You've been acting bizarre lately, what's going on?" Clara asks as the rest raise their brows.
"Fine! Ya really wanna know what's going on?! I've been feeling weird and uncomfortable ever since Mandy started eating with us. I know I seem really selfish right now but to be honest...I don't really trust Mandy--"
"I get it......" Mandy says with a frown. "It's hard to be friends with the person who made the person you care about suffer for 4 years, plus we had a rocky start and I don't valentines you for not trusting me. I'll do you guys a favor and give you some time to figure out your thoughts....and so will I" she says getting up from the lunch table and heading out the doors.
"I get it if your mad--"
"Asher, we're not mad. We get it, you need some time to figure this whole thing out. I mean, one day you find out the reason why Ashley's been suffering and the next day you start to eat with the person who made her suffer." Clara says softly
"I guess we just pitied Mandy so much that we decided to just let her in without your acknowledgment. I know we asked you but we should've asked before making a decision." Matthew says with a frown
"Well, to be completely honest, I only said yes out of pity, I didn't actually want to be her friend......" I say as I look down at the ground
Matthew cups my face in his hand before leaning in for a kiss. "I will love you either way." He whispers in my ear.
Awwwww, isn't that cute? He will love her no matter what! Well.....let's hope that last........Hehehehehe, I'm so evil. Anyways, cya!:)
