Alex and I stand next to my laptop, the flash drive Jay had given to us, clenched tightly in my hand. Im sure Ill find a permanent imprint on my skin when I let it go.
"Are you ready?" Alex gulps besides me. I glance at his face, and find pale features and worried eyes.
"It's okay Alex. How horrible can whatever is in this flash drive be?" I say with as straight of a face as I can muster. He nods his head with a clenched jaw in a agreement. However the butterflies fluttering in my stomach prove I'm not as carefree, as I wish to be.
I push the flash drive into its socket, in one movement. Than I watch as my laptops screen starts to load, and than a video appears
A scratchy and grainy one.
My breathe hitches as beautiful red hair comes into view.
And than I scream.
•Eekk! Super excited for the next few chapters! Sorry for the cliffhanger, but I promise the next few chapters will be worth it. We'll get some of Alice's point of view, (did anyone notice I stopped them?) and Austins as well! I'm still deciding if Mason will get one of his own or if Tony will.
