Our Great Escape

Part 13

The next day on set, Jared and Jensen opened their trailer to find it stuffed with gifts for the baby.

"It's like Christmas, Jack!" Jared said excited

Jensen laughed as he moved some of the gifts out of the way so he and Jared could have a way to get in.

Once they managed to get inside the trailer, Jared couldn't wait to open the gifts.

"I wonder what it is." He said as he picked up one of the pastel blue packages and shook it

"I don't know." Jensen replied as he picked up another package and began to open it

"Are you opening the gifts already?!" Jared asked while laughing

"Of course. You're not the only one who's excited." Jensen said as he finished unwrapping the gift to find a rattle inside

"Awww..." Jared cooed as he saw the gift

"Let's see what you're working on." Jensen said as he took a seat on the floor

Jared ripped the wrapping paper off of the rather large package and found a playpen.

Jared and Jensen spent a good portion of time in their trailer opening the gifts for their son before going to the set.

Of course, everyone was expecting them to come out with huge smiles on their faces and just beaming about the baby that would soon be entering their lives.

But, when Jared and Jensen did come out to the set, they did smile but they mostly kept to themselves.

Maybe they were saving their energy for filming? Was what most of the cast and crew thought

After all in the show, Sam was pregnant too.

During filming some scenes in the impala, Jared was having trouble remembering his lines.

Jensen looked over and asked "Do you need to look at the script again, Jay?"

"I've looked at it five times already. I think it's something else that's throwing me off." Jared said

"What is it?" Jensen asked

"The baby kicked." Jared said

Once the producers heard that, they immediately thought about including that in the scene.

"What?" Jensen whispered in surprise

Jared shushed him.

"Let's just get back to doing the scene." He said before he felt another small kick

"Agreed." Jensen said then, whispered to his son within his lover " You gotta calm down now, kiddo. We're working. "

Later in their trailer, they watched the filming footage during a scene in which Sam wakes up in the middle of the night to find a hex bag on his night stand.

Jared laid his head on Jensen's shoulder and said "You know, during this scene, the baby was moving around so much."

"You probably freaked him out." Jensen said

"I must have." Jared replied as he rubbed his bump as he fast forwards to a scene in which Sam is building his own son's crib when he discovers some strange writing on it

"Here's the scene where you trip and fall into the room." Jared said

Jensen blushed in embarrassment as he watched himself trip and fall to the floor while everyone else erupted into fits of laughter.

"At least that wasn't the only time that happened. Remember our very first day on set together?" Jensen asked

"When you tripped over that mirror and needed stitches? How could I forget?" Jared laughed

"Some things never change." Jensen said
