That's all he saw....
It wasn't the type when your going to bed or going through a tunnel.....
This was real darkness.....he could feel it, it was like a blanket, a cold dark overwhelming blanket....
And he needed to get out....
He was Sunstreaker.....he wouldn't go out this way....at least without a fight....

Ari looked at the panicked stricken Mech.
He was frantically looking for something to inject the energon into his twin, making a small mess of her shop...but that wasn't important....someone's life was on the line....
" How would you normally take the energon?" The teen asked.
Sideswipe answered but continued his search.
" Uh...we normally eat or drink it.....but he needs a ejection....he can't eat in this conduction..."
The bot picked up a a pump.
" What's this?" He asked.
Ari shrugged.
" Just a old pump to a vacuum....why?"
Sideswipe was looking at it intently.
" Does it suck air or push?" He asked.
" Well that depends on the setting.....what do you have in mind?"
Sideswipe gave her a half smile.
" How fast can you put a needle syringe thing and add it to the pump?"
" Depends on how urgent the situation is..." the teen replied.
The autobot handed her the materials.
" Very...."

Sideswipe watched the young human work.
It amazed him how creative she got when it came to stuff like this.
He glanced over at his twin.
Flash back:
Another petty attack from the cons...
" Sunny...lets do our thing!"
His twins optics flickered with excitement.
" JET JUDO!!!" he shouted.
The two ran off the small cliff.
The free falling was a stunning feeling.
He glanced over at his twin who had already landed on a con.
Sunstreaker stood up and gave him the " surf's up " symbol. One of the fun but useless things the humans taught them.
He landed on a jet with a thud.
His peds slipped and he slid across the slick armor of the seeker.
Desperately he grabbed out, his servo caught the tip of the wing.
The con did a barrel roll, a attempt to lose the red autobot.
But Sideswipe was in this Jet Judo long enough to know what was coming.
Sideswipe started to pull himself up, catching a glimps of his twin who was making his way to aid him.
Sideswipe noticed something Sunstreaker didn't.
Starscream.....
He tried to call out a warning to his twin....
