"Walmart is fucking weird," Janine said, as her and Rachel walked along the frozen food isle.

"Can you please try to be positive just this once?" Rachel retorted, turning to glare at Janine.

Janine raised her eyebrows, "sorry Mom," she snickered.

Rachel rolled her eyes, and the two continued all the way back to the sports section. Janine walked up to a tennis ball, and picked it up, carefully speculating it. Suddenly, she smiled.

"I'll bet you five dollars I can get 100 keep ups with this," she said, nodding at the tennis ball.

Rachel grinned.

"So is it a deal?"

"It's a deal,"

Janine tossed the ball up in the air, and began juggling. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10...

Rachel watched with intensity. Too much intensity, is you ask Janine. But she continued anyways.

41 42 43 44 45...

Rachel's eyes followed the ball up, and all the way back down, as it hit Janine's foot with a thunk, before flying back up into the air again.

75 76 77 78 79...

The tennis ball flew forward, hitting Rachel square in the forehead.

"I thought you played soccer, Janine," Rachel teased, "now let me try. But this time, I'm juggling an actual soccer ball,"

Rachel picked up a partially deflated soccer ball, and got 100 keep ups with ease.

"I want my five bucks, by the way," she said as she tossed the ball back into the bin that it came from.

"Alright, alright...one more bet," Janine said. She picked up a basketball, slowly turning it in her heads.

"I'm going to try and get 100 keep ups with this," she pointed at the ball. "If I miss, i'll give you twenty bucks...but if I do it..."

Rachel cocked her head to the side.

"...you've gotta give me a kiss. And you have to pretend that you like it too,"

Rachel smiled shyly.

"Deal...again,"

Janine threw the basketball up, and began juggling.

She finally got to eighty.

81 82 83...

The ball sailed up, up, up...and fell to the ground.

"What? No!" Janine fumed, "I mean, not that I would want to kiss you...because...I don't," she added.

Rachel looked at Janine for a few seconds, before slowly making her way over.

"Janine," she said, using her hand to tilt Janine's head towards her.

"Yeah?"

"I didn't see the ball hit the ground,"

And she leaned in and gave her a kiss.
