"Sailor Mars!" Rei calls out.

"Sailor Mercury!" Ami calls out.

"Sailor Venus!" Minako calls out.

"Sailor Jupiter!" Makoto calls out.

They stand in front of each other with Makoto in front. "Let me handle this! Supreme...Thunder!"

There is an explosion, and a huge cloud of smoke appears before disappearing. "It didn't work!"

Just then, there is a loud female scream before another one follows.

~~~3rd POV~~~

"If the Doom Tree keeps growling like this, all the energy on Earth will be absorbed," Luna warns.

"Let me handle it. Crescent..." Minako starts.

A wave goes through Rei's head, causing her eyes to widen. "Wait!"

Minako stops and turns her head to look at her. "What's wrong?"

"I feel something," Rei admits.

"What?!" Minako exclaims.

"Mars?" Makoto questions as Rei walks past her.

Rei stops before the building and places her hand on the branch. "This Doom Tree...may be sentient."

"What?" Artemis exclaims.

"No way!" Ami denies.

The branch moves, causing Rei to gasp and the rest of the girls to get ready.

"It's coming!" Ami warns.

The girls jump and land next to Rei as the branch fully moves out of the way, causing them to gasp.

"This is..." Minako trails off.

"Looks like it's letting us in." Rei points out.

"All right!" Makoto comments.

"Let's go!" Minako orders softly.

"Okay!" Ami agrees.

The girls and the four cats jump over some branches before running straight ahead. Rei's eyes widen, and she comes to a stop. Some liquid is released and sent towards her, and she jumps out of the way.

"It's an acid solution!" Artemis exclaims.

Minako lets out a gasp as the branches block them off again.

"We're trapped!" Rei states.

Ami lets out a gasp as she looks behind her. "Oh! This side, too!"

"Damn, looks like we've fallen into a trap." Makoto curses.

"It's as I thought; it's intelligent." Rei comments.

Acid is sent towards Ami, who manages to jump out of the way. Acid is sent towards them repeatedly, and each time, they all dodge out of the way until Luna lets out a sound of pain, and they turn to see a little bit of acid has hit her shoulder.
