Promise (Mike x eleven)

Chapter 3

Eleven POV
I remember feeling my eyes jolt  open in complete darkness. It was so cold. Where was mike.i began to look around the empty nothingness. I began to spin around calling Mike's name. I was running everywhere. Nothing. And then something appeared. It papa. He walked up to me.
"Welcome back eleven" he said with his normal   Bad voice.
"You are dead" I angrily screamed
"Oh no I am very much alive" Papa said calmly
"No" I said in demand
"You hurt a lot of people with you powers. You even killed some " he said with certain
"Liar" i yelled
"See for yourself." He said.
I turned around and saw mike in a bed. People were surrounded him crying. I saw all the boys to.
"I can't believe he is gone." I heard Will say
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted her from the start" Lucas said with anger
The image disappeared
"You did this eleven." Papa said
"That is a lie" I screamed at the top of my lungs
"You can't escape your fate." He said louder
"No" I screamed
"Eleven" he said again
"Go away" I screamed
"Eleven" he began to say loudly
"I hate you" I screamed
He began to repeat my name louder and louder until I screamed as loud as I could until I began to see color again. All I could see was a ceiling. I was breathing heavily when I looked around. I felt something warm on my arms and looked to see it was a pair of hands on them. I followed the arms to mike. I was relieved see him. I could feel my eyes beginning to tear up. I looked at mike with a worried,sad and scared face.

Miles POV
She didn't need to say anything for me to know she had just had a terrible nightmare. I hugged El and she began to cry in my arms. I rubbed her back and told her
"Everything is going to be ok. The bad dream is over." I told her this very calmly
"Mike" she cried
" shh shh it's ok" I whispered gently. She cries a little slower and pulls away.with my hands on her shoulders.
"Do you want to talk about it." I asked  gently.  She nodded her head at me with some tears still slightly running down her cheeks. I go up and grabbed her hand. We went my room and sat down on my bed so she would be more comfortable than on the floor. She told me it all with more tears running down her face. I even felt a tear run down my eye. It killed me to see her like this. Even if she didn't know it. I hugged her.
"It's ok. The good part is that it didn't happen." I said trying to be calm.
"What if Papa was telling the truth." El questioned herself
"Hey look me." I said to her. I lifted her chin up as she looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"I know you never hurt me unless it was for my own safety." I say to her honestly. She gives me a small smile
"That or I really deserved it." With a small chuckle
She gives me a small smile I noticed the position we were in. I began to turn red. She noticed because she began to blush as well. I stared deep into her beautiful brown eyes. We began to lean in. Our lips were so close. We were about to connect our lips when the Walkie talkie went off.it made both of us jump. It began to say
"Mike! Come in over" said Lucas concerning threw the walkie talkie.
"Lucas I'm here over." I replied
"I are you alone over" Lucas asked
"No I am with eleven over." I replied
"Get alone. I will explain then over." Lucas said
"Alright give me a second over and out." I said
I looked at el who was looking up at me. I grabbed her cheek with one hand
" I'll be right back. Ok? I said to her
"Ok" she said wiping off her eyes.i took my hand off her cheek and went into the bathroom. I turned on the walkie talkie
"Lucas Are you there over?" I asked
"Yeah I'm here over." He said
"What did you need to tell me over." I asked
"Ok we are going to throw a welcome back party for eleven. Are you in? Over. He asked
"Of course I am over." I say happily
"Good just get her in some nice clean clothes and you to over." Lucas says with a chuckle
"Ok when is it over" I asked
"Tonight at 6.Oh and it's at your house so keep her distracted over. We will be at your house to set up in half and hour so hurry."he responds
"Ok thanks over and out." I say
I then put down the walkie talkie and go to el. I look at my watch. It was currently 4pm. Two hours alone with el.i have no problem with that. She looks at me. I smile at her. She smiled back.this is going to be fun.
"So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out like alone for awhile." I asked feeling a blush come over my face
"We are alone." She points out.
"No like a.... like outside. Go to fun places." I try to explain
She then nods her head at me.
"Oh but first we should get you into some new clothes." I say remembering what Lucas said.
She looks at her dress and then looks back up at me looking a bit upset
"What is wrong with this." She asks
"Well people do not usually wear the same cloths over in a row. If you do you start to smell bad." I explain
"Ok" she says.
I go over to Nancy's bedroom with el. I then knock on her door. The door opens
"Oh hey mike. Hey el." She says. Then looks at me and gives me a romantic look. I give her a pissed off look.
"I need you to get el into some new clothes fast. We are going out so I can give her tour of Hawkins" I give a look that I was up to something. She understood and grabbed eleven. 10 minutes later elven comes out wearing jeans with a grey shirt with overalls. Her hair was all curly. Not like I had ever seen her like before. She looked like some type of country girl. I thought it was cute. I looked at she awaited my reaction. I couldn't speak.
"Wow" I said
