Promise (Mike x eleven)

Chapter 5

Elevens POV
I hugged mike tightly around the waist like normal. A couple of seconds ago he placed his lips on mine for the third time. I still had tingles in my stomach. Oh yeah so I like mike. That is what he called. My face felt hot. I wish there wasn't an emergency otherwise I would be putting mikes lips on mine again. I wonder what that is called.i really wanted to know.
"Mike what is it called you lips touch." I asked
I felt him tense.
"Oh well it's called a kiss."he told me.
"Oh ok thanks." I say
"Why do you want to know" he asks
"No reason" I say casually
"Ok" he replies. We arrive at his house. We hop off of his bike. He puts his bike away and then grabs my hand and brings me inside. He brings me downstairs to the basement. As soon as we get downstairs everybody yells
"SURPRISE" even mike. Then I begin to notice a bunch of papers with the number 11 on it. I began to look at them like they were crazy.
"I don't get it" I say with a flat tone.
"We threw you a surprise welcome back party" Dustin says with a happy smile
"What is surprise and party" I asked
"A surprise is when you don't see something coming and a party is a special event for a special event or for a special person. It is filled with people that either you don't know or your friends." Mike explains. It was filled people I did like. Well not like I liked mike. I like him different. It was filled with Dustin mike Lucas. Will who I didn't know well, and......Max? I have a nasty feeling in my gut now all of a sudden. I wonder what that means.
"Thank you" I smile. The boys go to eat food which is also at this party. Oh look it has eggos. I go and grab one. I eat it very fast. Max comes up to
"Hi eleven in Max. I don't know if you remember me from last night." She says acting nice. I give her a slightly mad look
"I remember." I say coldly
"I wanted to know why you don't like me." She asked quickly. I had no shame on telling her why but. The truth was that I was jealous. Mike taught me that word
"I am jealous of you. Mike told that that was the emotional I was feeling." I explained to her
"Why would you be jealous of me?" She asked acting confused
"You like mike." I tell her
"What" she asks me shocked
"You like mike I saw you." I tell her slowly
"Why would think that and when did see us" She asked me
Now I was confused. Did she not like mike. Maybe she was just being nice
"You were with the sk..ate b..board. You were smiling with him." I explained it to her try to say my new vo...cabulary.
"I was just being nice. I was just trying to make him it hate me." She explained to me
"oh" I say feeling stupid
" you saw us." She asked looking shocked
"Yes. I went to find mike and I saw you two." I told her
"Did you make me fall." She asked.
"Yes." I paused "I am sorry." I looked at her honestly. I expected her to be mad at me. I expected her to look at me like mike did when he thought that Will was dead. She wasn't mad at me though. She just smiled at me.
"I understand. If I had the power that you had and I was in your position I would have done the same thing."
"Can we restart." I asked. That was a word I learned with hopper. She nodded her head. We gave each other a small smile.
"Oh and you don't have to worry about me. I kind of have a thing for Lucas. Don't tell him that." She said to me acting a bit nervous
I smiled
" Promise" I told her. I think I like Max a lot more now.
"Cool" she said like mike did that one time
"Cool" I told her just like the time I did with mike.
We start to enter into conversation about our relationships which is a word she ended up telling me about. We began to laugh a lot to.

Mike's POV
I was staring at eleven who was talking to Max. I guess that she got over her jealousy. I mean they are laughing. Lucas comes up to me
"You better be staring at el." Lucas says with a sassy tone
"Of course I am staring at eleven. Why wouldn't I be." I told him in a slight daze. Lucas gives a small chuckle.
"So how did keep her busy." He asked smirking at me
"Well I gave her a tour. We rode on my bike. We told each other about our feelings and a I kissed her." I said casually hoping he wouldn't notice what I had said.
"Oh cool...Wait What?!" He asked enthusiastically. S*** he noticed.i told exactly what happened. He laughed at me but not mockingly
"Dude you sly." He smirked at me
"Your acting as if I did it just to kiss her." I said slightly mad at him
"Wasn't it" he asked. I gave him a pissed off look.
"Relax I'm kidding I know it's because you love her." Lucas smirked
"Shh I don't want her to know that I love her yet ."
"It is clear that she lived" he reassured me
We continue to talk about

Dustin's POV
I was stuffing my face with food so was Will .My stomach hurts but that is probably because I am stuffing my face with food. It is probably just nothing and it will go away by the time a wake up tomorrow. Although has been hurting ever since I swallowed something in that cave. Nothing to worry be. I hope
