*One week later*

Evie and her high and mighty ass came back from her so called tour which I know was going to result in me being back to my old ways sitting there working the bar with Casidee. I looked on at Evie as she ranted over and over again about plenty of rappers and millionaires throwing more bills in an hour than they can do in one night here. She even ranted about rappers trying to make her more than a stripper.

“Girl let me tell you, he was fine and his money was so damn right, talking about he could make me wifey. I could care less I got my baby who just got signed and he proposed,” I peeked at the ring and it was a big one, “So I know I am about to get paid,” she said and I looked at her puzzled, “This is something that you women have to know to get your way to the top, you want to know what that is? Don’t get with any man who is already a rich man, why? Because when he wants to move on, you aint getting shit but the clothes you done hopped on the private jet with. Get a hood star, if he get the spins in the clubs in the matter of the months he would be rich starting with him getting used to the rich lifestyle and if he try to divorce let him because you don’t got used to the rich lifestyle you wasn’t magically brought into it,” she explained and I just burst out laughing.

This girl was literally out of her mind telling these women the wrong things. She was teaching them how to be a gold digger and a bad one at that.

“Is there something wrong?” she questioned and I laughed shaking my head.

“No nothing at all, just what you said,” I laughed then suddenly stopped, “Was suddenly bullshit.” I said seriously and she scoffed raising her brow.

“Are you mad because it didn’t work for you? Trevon is rich and you are still here popping pussy for dollars,” she giggled, “I’m here now, there is no more Magic, time for Evie to get on the stage and teach Magic what she can’t do.”

“Suck dick on the stage yeah,” I mumbled under my breath and turned to the mirror continuing to take off my make up.

“You know I never knew Amina but where is your boyfriend, do you have one? I mean my man got a cousin you know if you want to date him but he is lazy as hell.” She explained and once I finished I packed my shit and bounced. I didn’t have time to deal with Evie’s shit once she came back; I had other things to worry about.

I got out the building and walked across the street to already see Jaye sitting inside which put a smile on my face. Once he saw me he smiled and opened the doors for me and helped me picking up my bags then kissed me on the cheek.

“So how was work?” he asked and I sighed.

“Define work; I don’t even want to talk about it. Lets talk about you, how did the meeting go?” I asked and he looked at me and smiled.

“You are looking at an official Interscope Underground artist.” He said and I screamed jumping up on him.

“I’m so happy for you!”

“Hey, I got the right help. I am grateful for you; you supported me and didn’t even know me like that.”

I smiled lightly blushing, “I had to face the music.” I said and he kissed me softly on the lips then took a box from behind his back and held it in front of me.

“No you didn’t have to,” I said stuttering between my words and he smiled.

“No I had to, come on.” He took out my hand and put the box on it then opened.

I couldn’t help but to start having tears coming out my eyes but still have this big smile on my face. It was the most beautiful thing that I have saw and I knew for sure that it was pricey. It was a Tiffany’s heart lock pendant which was covered in diamonds that just sparkled in my eyes.

“I had to tell you thank you in the best way that I can.” He took the necklace and put it on then turned back to me and smiled then I suddenly gave him the biggest hug that I can then let go.

“So where is the key?” I asked smiling and he reached in his shirt taking out his chain that had a key connected to it.

“Girl you think this a game? I got the key to that stone heart of yours.” He said poking my chest and I looked up at him and smiled.

“You actually do have the key to my heart, lets hope you not passing the key around.” I said and he kissed me.

“Never that girl.”

The whole bus ride I couldn’t help but to look at the necklace then at Jaye. It meant something special to me and it meant something special to him.
