y/n looks up as the voice of an announcer rings through the airport
the loud feminine voice almost giving her a headache
"the flight from south korea, seoul has just landed. those who are waiting for the passengers would please go to 5th gate exist"
the girl picks up her bag and hurriedly starts walking to the gate
after almost seven years, y/n was going to see her childhood best friend again
the two girls, jennie and y/n, have been planning this moment for almost eight months
when she found out jennie was coming to new zealand, she could barely wait
the two kept in touch, and sometimes
even flirted over text
y/n thought it was stupid, having a crush on her friend whom she hasn't seen since middle school
but still, her heart was aching as she looked for jennie
people were storming out of the gate's doors, some even crying as they huged their loved ones
a petite girl then comes out, her hair a bit messy after a twelve hour flight
y/n's breath is taken away when jennie comes up to her, smiling
"hi"
her voice soft and smooth, almost like syrup
jennie then hugs y/n, holding the girl close
"i missed you so much y/n"
the two then break from the hug, still holding hands
"can i-?"
"y/n, can i kiss you?"
the young girl shocked, nods.
then the brunette holds her face and pecks her lips
an electrifying sensation running through y/n's body
the two just stare at eachother after the kiss, both being a blushing mess
two weeks pass by in a blur, y/n taking jennie out on dates, both of them staying up and having fun
a wrenching feeling overtakes y/n's stomach as she stops her car in the airport's parking lot
silence occupies the vehicle, none of the girls saying a word
"y/n, i know this seems rushed and a bit selfish but.."
"yes?"
"will you..?"
"would i?"
"would you come to korea with me?"
"but i don't have a ticket, or luggage and-"
"i bought an extra ticket just in case"
".."
"so? will you come with me and start a new life, together?"
jennie looks at y/n, her eyes wide as she looks at her with a pleading look
