Cory was sitting on Amber's bed with Isabelle who was crying on his lap. He then picked up Isabelle and brought her to her room to rest. Cory left the room to see if Amber's father was in the greenhouse which he was. Cory ran out of the house and got to the greenhouse and walked up to Lowell and stood next to him, they were looking at Amber and Julie sleeping right next to each other in separate beds.
Cory walked over to Amber's side and knelt down and took her hand, he then looked at Lowell who nodded and left to give Cory alone time. "I'm sorry Amber, I wish I could've protected you. I love you. For all I know, you could die while in this sleep and never wake up. I love you Amber." Cory then placed his hand on Amber's stomach and felt Alex's heartbeat and then he smiled. "Amber, I will protect you, Isabelle and Alex. Just please stay awake and fight to stay alive." Cory said kissing Amber's lips and kissing her stomach.
