To those who have figured out who was the masked man in Chapter 13, could you please keep quiet to avoid spoiler to those who haven't had a slightest idea on who he is?
And there! Chapter 13 pretty much explains everything on why our enigmatic main character has powers.
I also have one thing to say. Chapter 13 is a start of a new story arc that explain more about our hero's origins and Earth's situation. It is also the start of a new string of events that concerns other characters in the story.
