chapter 11

It's 2 months after the wedding and I'm so happy. I feel like nothing can bring me down. I walk down to the cafeteria and meet my gorgeous husband and our friends. I have great news. And I can't wait to tell him. After we finish eating I pull him to the chasm so I can tell him. "I need to tell you something." I say as I grab his hands. "Is everything ok?" He asks worried. "Yes, actually..........I'M PREGNANT!" I shout not caring if anyone hears me. "Really??" I nod and he picks me up and spins me around. "I'm so happy. How far along?" He asks. "3 weeks!" He just kisses me and my stomach in response. Then we walk hand in hand Down to our apartment.

                                 3 AM

            I hear a knock on the door. "Babe go get it." Tobias mumbles. Men. I open the door and there he is. MARCUS. I never thought I would ever see him. "Hello tris." I am speechless. "Is Tobias here?" He asks. "Yes but you can't see him." I say standing in front of the door. "But I will. He must be punished for leaving me. Now walk away." He says. "No! You can't touch him anymore. You have to beat me instead." I say back. "Fine follow me." I follow him and he beats me. At the end of it I have bruises all over my back. Luckily he didn't touch my stomach. This happens for 3 weeks until one night. I was about to get ready.

            "Tris, what's that?" Tobias asks pointing to my back. "Oh, nothing." I say trying to brush it off. If he finds out he would be so mad. "It's not nothing now tell me!" He says a little bit louder. So I tell him the whole story. "I'm going to kill him! Nobody touches my wife." With that he picks me up and holds me. Next thing I know he's crying. "Tobias, what's wrong?" I say as he puts me down. "I don't want to loose you or the............. Is the baby ok?!?" He asks worried. "It's fine. And so am I. Everything is okay. Okay?" I ask. "Okay."
