Investigator:

Today is March 4, 2017 at 4:00 PM. For the record, I'm Detective Matias Lane with the Wake Forest Police Department. This interview is being recorded.

Brooks:

Where's Detective Reinhart?

Investigator:

He's away ill. Anyways, I had a few more questions for you."

Investigator:

 Would your boss be okay to find someone else in the event we need to keep you longer?

Brooks:

Investigator:

I'm sure he'll be more than understanding to accommodate us if need be.

Brooks:

Investigator:

Ms. Brooks we have reason to believe that you were cheating on Officer Knight.

Brooks:

[laughs] With who?

Investigator:

To protect their identity I won't be disclosing their name.

Brooks:

---Tell me the name.

Investigator:

I won't disclose the name, Miss Brooks.

Brooks:

Show me the proof. ----Don't come at me assuming I'm cheating because your PD can't get their shit together and figure out who murdered my boyfriend. I wasn't cheating and I didn't kill him. ---Levi would be ashamed to have ever worked for this station.

I paused in front of my dad's hospital bed, and clutched onto the railing by his feet. I leaned slightly forward, "Well dad, Stanley's coming. You're so called best friend who's probably fuckin' your sister on the side."
