I rush into the cafe, glancing to the side of me at the man in his usual seat. I couldn't help but grin as he looks on.

He always sits by himself...I truly wonder what goes on in his mind. I do know that he's paid well because he never wears the same thing twice. I can't say the same, unfortunately.

Once I put on my apron, I go behind the counter besides Rylan. I watch him nod over at the man with a scowl.

"The usual, huh?"

"The usual." He responds, causing me to smile as I grin excitedly. I have finally decided...to hand the drink over to him myself. I already had the drink ready beforehand, just need to warm it up.

I couldn't help but smirk, looking at the cappuccino with extra milk foam. I made it with an extra amount of care for the guy who asks for me to do it...everyday, for the past month to make him this drink.

When the waiter brings him the drink, I always see the look on his face. It lights up with...vigor and so much excitement. It's a very bright smile as he grabs the cup without looking, only to bring it to his lips and drink it.

He never says a word, and never looks at anyone. Just continues to gaze out into space...always wearing a new pair of shaded glasses each day.

I sum up the courage, walking around the counter now. As I begin to head to his table. Even as I made my way towards him he continued to stare off, acting as if he didn't hear me coming. Once I stood before the table he didn't even acknowledge me.

I stood here at first, snickering quietly at how cute he looked. He honestly looks different in every angle and direction.

He honestly looked so sweet...as a soft grin played on his lips.

Now I was standing here for too long and I just clear my throat.

"Hey?"

I see the guy flinch, looking at me...but not truly looking at me. He looks in a odd direction, and I clear my throat.

"Hi, do you...have my drink?" He asks me softly, his voice quite deep but somehow gentle.

"I do, I'm the one that makes them." I tell him proudly, and I watch as a bright smile accompanies his face. I couldn't help but chuckle at how sweet he looked.

"They're delicious." He compliments me, and I nod; but he still smiles. I set his drink before him, but he continued to smile at me.

His smile was very sweet, but there was something off.

"Uh..." He scratches his temple nervously, an uncertain expression crossing his features. "Are you still there?"

"Yes?" I raise my eyebrow at him as I move to the side a bit, seeing that he didn't follow me. Especially when I wave my hand in his face...didn't even waver once or try to move back from it. "Can't you see me?"

I see the guy's grin become solemn, looking off shyly as he shook his head no.

"No, I can't."

"Why?" I accidentally just blurted out, feeling bad that I was being this nosy. "My bad, you don't have to answer me-."

"Why...?" The man breathes softly, and I watch him begin to remove his glasses. I'm startled to see eyes that are unlike anyone's I've ever seen. "It's because I'm blind...that's why."

I find myself looking off awkwardly, a lump forming in my throat. To see his eyes like this made me saddened...

You would never know he was blind with the way he acts and carries himself. People have told me he was odd, but he couldn't help it.
