We walk down a clear hall. You can see into every room you pass.
Hank opens a door, which leads to another hallway. This hallway is blue. Not dark or navy blue, but not a baby blue either. This blue is like a crisp summer sky blue. There are pictures every so often.
Then, we come to the only wooden door in the hallway. We walk in, I see him! There he is just sitting on a chair watching TV.
"Jay!"
He snaps up, gets out of his seat, and gives me a hug while spinning me around. He held his forehead to mine.
"Ok!" Hank says behind us. "You saw him."
"But, I-"
"But nothing! Lets go!"
"I want to bring him with."
"You can't bring him." Liddy says.
"Why?" I let a tear roll down my cheek. He pulls me near him, and holds me tight in a hug.
"Hey." I look at Jay's face. Our eyes meet.
"You know why, Anna." Hank says.
"Anna." James says.
"Please." I am crying now. My eyes still locked on Jay's.
"I love you." Jay says with a kiss on my lips.
