Kai's POV
Im here minding my business just laying and listening to my music and I get a call from Cassie.
Me- Heeeeyyyyy
Cassie- Can you drive me to the mall I gotta go pick up some shoes
Me- Yeaah I'll be over in less than an hour
She giggled and screamed yay. She dropped the call. Not even a minute after I got another call I thought it would be Cassie again. Maybe she forgot something
I answered the call
Jordan- Kai?
Me- Jordan?
Jordan- Ive missed you soo much
Me- I've... missed you too
Jordan- Soo I heard you and Will got back together
Me- Erm yeaahh we did
Jordan- Ohh... I hope you two are happy together.
Me- Yeah we are...
Jordan- Well I gotta go
Me- J wait, I still got love for you and that won't ever change. You're gonna find the perfect girl one day and if she fucks you over I'll beat her ass. And you'll always be the bestest male bestfriend I ever had.
He chuckled but I can tell he's hurt.
Jordan- Just promise to never stop hitting me up and if Will aint hitting it right you know who to call
I giggled.
Me- I won't hesitate neither
Jordan- *laughs* But I really gotta go my break is up
Me- Byee Jordan
Jordan- Bye Kai
He hung up. I sighed and Will ran in the room.
Will- I just put Nova to sleep and Kai I wanna make a baby
My eyes widened
me- you cant be serious
Will- of course not but when Im serious you'll be first to know
He chuckled and kissed my forehead.
Will- Now take off them socks and
come over here so I can show your toes some love
I giggled and got on the bed.
Cassies POV
I waited for Kai at home shes at Wills with Nova. I need to go get some heels for my date tonight me and August are going somewhere nice.
I sat on the steps waiting then the mail guy came. I saw letters address to me and Kai's parent or legal guardian.
Some stupid shit about us not being in school enough so we're gonna get kicked out unless we get our attendance to 90% or higher. Mine is currently on 67% and Kai's is on 79% Damn. I may aswell just give up. Ny was the only one who really tried so she's probably gonna graduate and shit.
I put the letter in back and was about to call Kai. Then I heard August on the phone. Recently he's been getting some suspicious calls. Starting off with the one I heard 2 days ago.
I was sitting on the porch so I crept to the window and listened in
August- Seriously?... Damn. Ny just had a baby. And my girls sisters got baby too... Nahh she got me as a man come on and her sister yeaahh her nigga aint no punk neither... Kai can handle herself like a real nigga I wont lie... Will and Luc?... mh mh... No... Nahhh... Both my little sisters boyfriends? You got me fucked up... I aint letting this happen.
What could he possibly be talking about. I jumped as Kai honked the horn. I ran to the car with quickness
Me- Drive before August see's
Kai- Whyy?
She turned onto the main road.
Kai- What happened?
Me- Well recently August has been getting these calls. And I think its got to do with Lucas getting beaten up or something but all I know is that whoever these guys are they really want Luc and Will.
Kai- How do you know?
Me- Coz on phone he was saying My little sisters boyfriends not Luc and Will I wont let that happen.
Kai- Damn. Well we cant even tell them or they're gonna be all paranoid and shit
I nodded.
Me- But now Im paranoid
Kai- Well lets try not to think about it then maybe we'll be fine.
We completely forgot about it until Kai started telling me a story about Will sucking her toes while
were eating.
Kai- And then he was like...
She stopped mid laughter and mouthed. "we need to go"
I was really confused. We picked up our bags and basically ran to the car. She pulled out the parking lot so fast .
Me- Kai? What did you see?
She just shook her head and continued driving
Kai's POV
Listen it was abit weird for my to behave like that but that's a sight I will never forget. Its funny coz I don't remember ever seeing these people until now. But Ny, Luc and Will were there both times actually. The same fear and eventual devastation I felt on those days, I nearly felt today. I could've watched Cassie die right infront of me today.
