36. Allah is Al-Ali The Most High, The Highest

His is all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth;
and most exalted, tremendous is He.
Ash-Shura 42:2

H&Q-54

1. Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of Affairs (for us) [Holy Qur'an, Al 'Imraan 3:171]

2. Stars beautify the Heavens, whereas the obedient beautify the earth.

3. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “On the Day of Resurrection I will intercede and say, ‘O my Lord! Admit into Paradise (even) those who have faith equal to a mustard seed in their hearts.’” [Bukhari:V9N600]

4. And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance [Holy Qur'an, al-Isra' 17:37]

5. Go on insulting me and I will (patiently) remain silent. I can reply but I choose not to, after all, lions do not respond to barking dogs.

6. A funeral procession once passed in front of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and he stood up out of respect. When he was told the person in the coffin was Jewish and not Muslim, he said: “Was it not a living (soul)?” [Bukhari:V2N399]

7. And turn not your face away from men with pride [Holy Qur'an, Luqmaan 31:18]

8. Be content with what Allaah has given you, and you will be the richest of people.

9. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once saw the corpse of a woman who had been killed in a military action, and he disapproved of it and forbade the killing of women and children.Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and his successor as head of the Muslim community, advised one of his military commanders: “Do not kill women or children or an aged, infirm person. Do not cut down fruit-bearing trees. Do not destroy an inhabited place.” [Al-Muwatta:V21N9-10]

10. And be moderate (or show no arrogance) in your walking, and lower your voice [Holy Qur'an, Luqmaan 31:19]

11. Love for other people what you love for yourself.

12. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “God has forbidden you to be undutiful to your mothers, to withhold (what you should give) or demand (what you do not deserve), or to bury your daughters alive (a pre-Islamic practice).” [Bukhari:8:6]

13. O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.[Qur'an 4:29]

14. Fear Allaah and treat all your children fairly.

15. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The learned are heirs of the prophets, and the prophets do not leave any inheritance in the form of (monetary wealth), but they do leave knowledge as their legacy. A person who acquires knowledge, acquires his full share (of this legacy).” [Riyadh-us-Salaheen:1388]

16. “When my servants ask thee (O, Muhammad) concerning Me, tell them I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me.” [Qur’an, 2:186]

17. Fear the prayer of the oppressed.

18. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best (Jihad) is (to speak) word of justice to an oppressive ruler.” [Sunan of Abu-Dawood:2040]

19. God does not forbid you to be kind and equitable to those who have neither fought against your faith nor driven you out of your homes. In fact God loves the equitable.” [Qur’an, 60:8]

20. The most beloved of deeds to Allaah is the one that is continuous, even if it is little.
