I froze. Here were a bunch of people who I didn't know, and two people who I didn't exactly enjoy being around (at least Peeta). I didn't trust them with the truth, ever. So dare it was.
"Dare," I said, giving my most challenging stare to the scrawny one. He didn't flinch.
"I dare you to kiss the girl you like."
I froze. Double whammy. They'd find out the girl I liked and I'd also have to kiss her. (Note: I ship Peeta and Katniss, not Gale and Katniss, but oh well). Who knew the stick would have it in him to give an actual dare?
Peeta was giving me a challenging look. That only encouraged me. The baker softie was no competition to myself, someone who had grown up with Katniss and was tough enough to deserve her. I turned to Katniss and kissed her full on the mouth. She tasted like freedom and outdoors, and I fought the urge to wrap my arms around her and press her warm body close to mine. I could have kissed her forever, her lips moving on mine in perfect harmony just like I knew they would. I couldn't break the kiss, didn't want to, wouldn't have even if I did have the willpower, but she did it for me. She broke away from me and in her eyes - where I expected inflamed passion - I saw only indifference and a little bit of... pity? Oh god, she felt sorry for me. It was this fact , not everyone staring at us and Peeta glaring, that made me turn bright red. I turned away quickly to hide my longing, and opened my mouth to ask someone the question, when the most that had brought us here re-entered.
"Not the author's spirit again!" the red-head (Rebecca? Raquel?) groaned.
When the fog left, six people were standing there. They looked truly... unique. One was small and had bright red and shining green eyes. She looked kind, but also not the type to be pushed around. The blonde was lean and would probably be considered hot. One had a sulky expression and was had black hair. However, he had startling blue eyes. Another girl had black hair and was gorgeous with long black hair and black eyes that sparkled dangerously. The last was... well, interesting. He had spiky black hair, a flamboyant, fluorescent robe on, and cat-pupiled eyes.
"I'm Clary," the red-head stepped forward. "Who are you?"
    We introduced ourselves.
"We're playing Truth or Dare," I announced. "Wanna join?"
"Sure," Clary shrugged. Her friends looked mildly interested.
"Okay," I said, smirking at her, "Truth or Dare?"
