I glared at the sidewalk as I waited for Blake to come out of the locker room. Annoyance and anger filled my body because Ryan had stolen my car keys, and Trevor drove off with the four kids as well as Blake's sister back to my house.

Of course, that left Blake taking me back to my house, and he was taking his good old time in the showers. The bad thing was that Blake didn't know that he was taking me back to my place because Trevor never told him.

"Oh my God," I groaned, sitting down on the bleachers. I looked at the field and sighed. I did have fun cheering for my team, but I knew that I couldn't do this again until the people were caught. Football was in my blood like boxing and dancing. I knew which plays would work or not, and Uncle Dalton sometimes asked me what they should change, even though he had thought the same thing that I would do differently.

"Bailey?" Blake asked, walking over to me. Worry filled his eyes, and I could tell that he couldn't find his sister. His face was flushed, and I could see a small bit of fear on his face, understanding why. His sister was his life, and if he couldn't find her, then he would feel guilty if something happened to her. "I can't fi-" He clamped up when I held up my hand.

"Trevor took her back to my place," I said, fiddling with the drawstrings on my hoodie. "He took the kids too. Blame Ryan and Trevor. They hatched a plan and stole my keys and car."

Blake let out a small sigh of relief and raised an eyebrow. His whole body relaxed, and I could tell that the weight was lifted off of his shoulders. "What was the plan?" he asked. "Why would he take the kids and my sister back to your place?"

"I think he has gotten it in his head that we should hang out more." I scowled. "Alone."

Blake smirked. "Oh, really now?" he asked. He leaned on the railing, staring into my gray eyes. "And why would he do that?" His eyes sparkled with this unknown light, and I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.

I shrugged my shoulder and leaned closer to him. I smirked when he backed up, a bit startled. "I think he wants me to teach you manners," I replied. "You seem to need a lot of work with it."

Blake scowled. "I will show you manners," he said, reaching for me. He grunted when I slid away from him and jumped off of the bleachers. "What th-" he said, staring at me in awe as I started to run away from him.

I turned back to look at him and smirked. "What?" I asked, seeing him stare after me in awe. "Surprised that a nerd can move so fast?"

Blake shook his head, a smile flickering on his lips. He started to run towards me, and I widened my eyes in shock before turning around and running toward his car. "You may have a head start, but I will beat you to the car!" he exclaimed.

"Oh, you are on!" I exclaimed before lengthening my stride. Maybe showing him the real me was alright. I just hoped that it wouldn't get him killed in the end...

I didn't know what I would do if either he or his sister got hurt because of me.

"You like him," Trevor hissed, making sure his voice was soft. He stared at me as I made some sandwiches because it would be a long day at work. "Admit it." Trevor waited for me to admit to whatever he was thinking, and I couldn't help but wonder why.

I scowled and nodded to the living room where both he and his sister was sleeping. "Zip it," I scowled. "I don't want to wake them up. Why are you even awake, anyway? I thought you would be fast asleep."

Trevor scowled and rolled his eyes. "Because someone was up early and almost fell on me." He leaned against the counter and watched me make the sandwiches. "Admit it. You enjoy having his company."

"When he is not an ass," I replied, holding up the knife and pointing it towards him. "And, it is your fault that I almost tripped over you. You knew that I would be coming that way. Why didn't you sleep in the kids' room?"

"Michael talks in his sleep, remember?" Trevor asked, and I shrugged. "And stop changing the subject. You like him and find him attractive."

"Everyone finds him attractive," I replied, finishing the last sandwich. I smacked his hand away from them when he tried to take one. "And I don't like him. I am not sure that I even count him as a friend yet."

Trevor scowled and rubbed his hand. He stared at the sandwich longingly, and I rolled my eyes and handed him one. "And yet, you are opening up a bit more to him," he said, taking a bite out of his sandwich. "Which is good. You need more friends."

I scowled and rubbed some of his crumbs off of my counter. "Why are you pushing me on him?" I asked, glaring at my cousin. "It seems to me that you are trying to get us to date."

He shrugged. "Well, I know that Blake can treat you right," he replied. He narrowed his eyes in annoyance. "Even though he had been an ass to you." He shrugged again. "Besides, the kids like him."

"And, I am a single "mother" that works four or five jobs, depending on what is needed of me, and I do not have time to date. You should be glad that Bill let me out of work Friday to go to the football game."

"Uh, he usually gives you football Fridays off because he wants you to go to the games," Trevor said. He scowled and wagged his finger in my face. "Don't use work as an excuse. They work around your schedule, not the other way around, which is surprising and annoying at the same time."

I rolled my eyes and started to put the sandwiches on the plate to take them to work. "Which is a good and a bad thing," I replied. "Are you going to go and watch me teach, or are you going to be lazy?"

"Be lazy," Trevor replied. "I'll take the kids to the park. Does Mimi have practice today?"

I nodded. "At one," I replied. "I have her stuff with me. Just get there around noonish so she can eat a sandwich. The last time you brought her on McDonald's, she threw up almost everywhere."

Trever held up his hands when I scowled. "She was hungry," he said. "How was I supposed to know that it was going to be a "mock recital"?"

"Uh... because I talked about it?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes when all he did was give me a blank stare. "Ugh, never mind. Just take Mimi to the dance place and please... for the love of all that is holy, do not take Blake? If he takes his sister, then he can no, but he cannot know with you being there."

"Then what is he supposed to do?" Trevor asked, stuffing his food into his mouth. "Stay in the car with the other kids?"

I smirked and wrapped the sandwiches. "Yes," I replied. "I am sure that they can keep him entertained." I picked up the plate and my duffel. "I'll see you around noonish. Put the stuff up, will you, since you seem to have a knack for making messes."

Trevor huffed. "Fine, but you owe me."

I turned around and smiled. "I don't owe you anything," I replied before leaving the kitchen and then the room. Hopefully, he knows where everything belongs...
