Psycho Pass: Monster With No Name {Kagari x OC}

"Good choice Takarashi. Good choice." - the white-haired man stood in front of me with a big smile on his face

I just looked up and down asking myself -"Did I do the right thing?

"But.."

"But what?" - I asked in a dismissive tone

"I need you to stay at the PSB for a few more months"

"If I'm joining, it's because I want to get out of there as fast as possible!" - I yelled

"I know, I know. But this is all part of the plan, Nishikawa. I guess that what you've seen was terrible." - He said approaching and looking at me with a compassionate look

"I don't want to talk about that."

"It's okay." - He said

"A few months?" -I asked

"Only a few months."

I went back to my room after talking with Makishima. I realized that he is a charismatic man, he knows how to manipulate people.

Then my thoughts were interrupted by knocks on my door. I opened it just to reveal Kagari, who jumped and gave me a hug

"Ka...Kagari! Let go!" - I yelled

"No! No Mitsuki! Let me be by your side!"

"Not now..."

"Stop saying no! You always say no! You never let me comfort you, you never let me be with you! And I...and I...I really want to be by your side."

"Kagari ..." - I said looking at his face - "You don't know how much you mean to me, you're the only one that I've cared about and the only one who supported me and I really...really appreciate you a lot."

I looked into his eyes and our lips collided in a kiss.

We ended up sitting on the couch in my living room. Talking, laughing and playing. Suddenly Kagari leaned back resting his head on my lap and looking at me

"Why are you looking at my face so much?" - I asked in a mocking tone

"You remind me of an angel when you smile."

"And do you know what an angel looks like?"

"No. But I imagine it. I've done it many times."

"Really?"

"Yes." - he said and continued -"In the isolation facility, I imagined many times that an angel came to rescue me. Someone, whoever it is, that day never happened"

"But, when they offered you the job of enforcer?" - I asked again

"I don't consider it 'a rescue' because I still felt alone" - he answered

"And now?"

"Now that you are here, I don't feel...alone anymore."

"I don't feel lonely either" - I answered while removing his orange hair from his face

"Tell me something about you." - he said suddenly

"What?"

"Come on whatever. What do you like to do?"

"I like to draw."

"I like cooking and playing video games" - he answered as if it wasn't obvios. Then we both laughed.

"Ok, ok...it's my turn." - I said stopping my laugh

"Ok." - he replied with a smile in his face

"Are you afraid of something?" - I asked

Then his expression changed to sad and he answered

"Needles."

"Needles?"

"Yes. In the isolation facility, when I was a child, they used to sedate me a lot for me to stay unconscious, injecting me with drugs to calm me down."

"Kagari..." - I said hugging him -"I promise you won't have to go through that, never again. Not while I'm here."

"Thank you Mitsuki." - he answered as he closed his eyes.

"Hey Kagari! Wake up! I didn't answer the question! Don't you want to know?" - I asked removing the hair from his face, but there was no case. As I watched him sleep silently and happy I realized, I was falling asleep too.

Just an announcement guys, I'm definitely not going to abandon this fanfic. I took so long but is because I already finished it :)
