(Y/n) POV
I sat in my bed while Link stared at me. I started to play with the blankets I was under. I tried not to give Link eye contact. I felt really guilty, he gave me enough time to think about it but I really didn't know what to do.
As I finally got to my conclusion I said, "Link I love you, I was so excited when you told me you returned my feelings. That is all I've wanting for a while now. But I'm doing this for Zelda. I can't back down now. I want to make her and everyone else proud. I'm sorry Link."
Link's expression turned sad. This was not what he wanted to hear.
He said, "I respect your decision. But I still think you should do what is best for you. I hope we can still be friends."
He walked out the door and then I burst into tears. I thought:
