Chapter 15

Tris pov

I sit in my small apartment's bathtub and relax as much as I can. I'm in so much pain I think the baby is coming.

I've been away from home for almost 4 months now. I'm close to 9 months pregnant so I'm ready to pop any minute.

The only person I keep in touch with his Tobias best friend Zeke.

He promised he wouldn't tell Tobias where I am & so far he's kept that promise.

He helps me get to doctor appointments and is there for me whenever I need him.

I don't want to go back home but I should. I miss everyone, especially Tobias. I wouldn't want him to miss the birth of his child.

I get out the tub and put on some clothes to get ready. I pack up my things which wasn't a lot and leave that apartment forever. I'm going home.

I texted Zeke 20 minutes ago to come pick me up and take me home. He happily agreed.

"What's the change of heart" he ask as we drive

"I'm ready. I feel like I've grieved Levi and forgave Tobias for kissing Lindsey. I don't want to hide anymore. I'm ready to come home" I say

"That's good because we missed you" he says

"Thanks for everything and keeping this a secret from your best friend. He can never find out about this" I say

"I know. Your secret is safe with me" He says

I say thank you one last time to Zeke then grab my bag and walk to the front door of me and Tobias house.

I pull out my key and unlock the door. It's exactly how I left it. The furniture, the smell, the everything.

I drop my bag and close the door behind me.

"Tobias" I say. He's no where to be seen

I guess he's not home. I'll just wait for him in the living room.

After about an hour I hear the front door unlock. I stand up and wait to greet Tobias when Lindsey and him walk in together.

"Tris?" He says surprised

"Hi" I say with a small smile

"How are you? Where have you been" He asks still in shock

"It doesn't matter I'm here now" I say

"I'm ready to be home, but it looks like my spot has been taken" I add looking at Lindsey

"No. I mean yes but" Tobias stumbles

"It's fine Tobias. I left, you moved on" I say pulling my engagement ring off my finger.

"I guess you should give this to her" I say handing him the ring

"You don't have to do that. We just got together" Lindsey says holding Tobias hand

"I actually just moved out of my brand new apartment so we could live together but I can just get a new one, so I should go pack my things" she says

"I'll go" I say

"No one is going anywhere" Tobias says
