Chapter 22

Tris pov

We're at the water park and Elena won't stop jumping up and down. She's so happy to be here.

I tie her bathing suit and she continues to run around the hotel room.

"Mommy's turn" She says patting my suit case for me to change into a bathing suit.

"Yeah mommy, put that bikini on" Tobias says and I throw a pillow at him

"Tobias don't start" I say and he laughs

I change in the bathroom and as soon as I come out Tobias looks at me and smiles.

I put a hand over my stomach and walk over to him

"I look so pregnant" I whine laying my head on him

"It's because you are" he says kissing my head

"I'm a mom I shouldn't be wearing a bikini" I say

"I like it" he says and I push him away

"You're being such a douche" I say

"I'm your husband I can't tell you I think you look sexy in a bathing suit" he says and I cross my arms over my chest.

"Okay you're in a bad mood, Tobias stop talking" he says and I sigh going over to pick up Elena.

"Moms wear bikinis all the time, there's nothing wrong with it. Tris you're not even that big plus you're 23 years old, wear all the bikinis you want" he says and I smile at him

"Sorry I was such a jerk, it's not me it's the baby hormones" I say

"I know" he says and we leave to the water park.

"Mommy" Elena screams with happiness as she runs over to me soaked from the kiddie water slide she was on

Tobias catches her and she whines

"No running bug. You can slip and fall" Tobias says and he puts her down. As soon as she's down, she still runs over to me.

She runs into my arms and giggles.

"Hey bug" I say and she lays her head on me

"What's wrong" I ask

"Potty" she ask

"Have to use the potty" I say

"Yes" she says

She lifts up her hands wanting me to pick her up so I do.

She lays her head on my shoulder while I hold her, carrying her to the bathroom.

I put her on the toilet and hold her hands while she uses the bathroom.

When we're done in there, she asks to get picked up again so I sigh and carry her back to the kiddie section of the water park.

"Ready to go down the slide" Tobias says taking her out of my arms

"No" she says getting cranky

"What's wrong" I say pushing hair out of her face

"I'm hungry" she whines

"Okay lets go get something to eat. We should be going anyway. Mommy and I have something to talk to you about" Tobias says and she just lays her head on him.

She gets cranky when she's hungry or tired. She's probably a mixture of both.

"How would you feel about having a baby brother or sister" Tobias gently ask Elena as we sit her down to talk to her about the new baby on the way

"I like it like this. No brother or sister" she says

"Okay um-..." I try to explain to her but I look at Tobias for help.

"So here's the thing. Mommy is having a baby. It's right here in her stomach" Tobias says touching my stomach

"What" She says confused

"I'm having a baby so that means you're going to be a big sister. How does that sound bug" I ask her in a happy tone

"No. I don't want to be a big sister" she says

"But the baby is on its way" Tobias says

"Take it back" she says

"Why don't you want to be a big sister" I ask her holding her hands

"Because I'm the baby" she says and I sigh

"You will always be the baby to us but now there's going to be another baby to add to the collection" Tobias says

"No" she says and runs to the bathroom

"Elena. Sweetie come back" I say and she doesn't answer

"Just let her be" Tobias says

"I knew she wasn't going to like it" I say

"Well there is nothing we can do about it. She will learn to deal with it" he says

"She told us to take the baby back" I say and we quietly laugh

I lay my head on his lap and he runs his fingers threw my hair.

"She will get over it. Just give it time" he whispers to me and I nod.

After 10 minutes of Elena not coming out Tobias and I walk into the bathroom and see her sitting on the toilet crying.

I quickly scoop my small daughter in my arms and hold her tight.

"Don't cry baby. Tell me what's wrong" I say

"I don't want you and daddy to stop loving me" she says and that breaks my heart.

"We would never. We love you so much and nothing will change that." I say

"Your going to be a big sister that's all nothing is going to change. Me and mommy we still going to love you just the same. Never thing that bug" Tobias says and she nods.

I wipe her tears away and we hug.

I put her on the floor and she looks at my stomach

"So the baby is in there" she says poking my stomach.

"Yes it is" I say

"How did it get in there" she asks and I look at Tobias with wide eyes.

"Me and mommy gave each other a special hug" Tobias says

"Yes very special. Only mommy and daddy's can do it" I quickly add

Tobias picks Elena up and carries her out the bathroom.

"It's movie time and you get to pick for being the best daughter ever" Tobias says and I smile at them.

"Little mermaid" she screams with happiness

"Little mermaid it is" Tobias says and that's what we watch.

I feel like my chapters are getting so crappy but I hope you enjoyed this one.
