Tris pov

Cold, strong, burning feeling fills my lungs. I shoot up in bed and try to breath for air but nothing helps.

Tobias wakes up next to me, rubbing my back.

"Tris, what's wrong" he says worried

I put my hands on my face and shake my head.

"We're going to the hospital" he says running to put pants and shoes on.

Throughout the last few months I've been up and down with this cancer. Some days I would feel amazing but I would also have days where I was really bad.

These past few months I've been spending most of my time with Tobias and the kids.

Everyone is so positive I will get better. I just don't see the beautiful ending everyone sees.

He scoops me up and pulls my tank along.
Tobias runs out the door but I stop him.

"The-... k-..ids" I say struggling

"They will be fine. We have to go now" he says

"I want-... to see...them" I say

"You will later" he says walking more to the car

"I need to see them" I say putting a hand on his hand

He runs us back into the house and Into the twins room.

He puts me on my feet but keeps his arm on my waist in case I fall.

I sit on Mason's bed and tears run.

"My beautiful boy, I love you" I say holding his cheek. I give him a kiss on the head and he turns a little but doesn't wake up.

I walk over to Riley's bed and lay my head against the wall as my breathing shortens.

"Stay strong ril, don't let your brother bully you" I say

"Tris we have to go" Tobias says

"Mommy loves you, never forget that" I tell her, kissing her head.

"I'm calling an ambulance" Tobias says and leaves the room

I somehow make it to the next room but I break down coughing which wakes Elena up.

"Mommy" she says running to me

"Hello baby" I say looking up at her and staring at her beautiful eyes

"What's wrong? Are you okay" she says getting tears in her eyes

"No no no, don't cry. Mommy is okay" I say

"I'm going to the hospital and the doctors will make me feel better but I need to tell you something before I go" I say and I break down in tears

"I want you to be you and only you. You are so amazing Elena and will always be. I want you to always be there for your little brother and sister and help daddy as much as you can. Be strong for me" I tell her

"I will mommy but where are you going" she says

"No where. I'm always going to be right here" I say pointing to her heart and she puts her hand on top of mine.

"I love you sweetheart" I say

"I love you too" she says and we hug.

"Now go back to bed" I say kissing her head

She listens and I close her door behind her

Tobias comes running to me and I feel like I'm going to pass out.

Tobias picks me up and carries me to the ambulance.

"Your Mom and my mom are on there way to watch the kids. The neighbor is just going to stay watch until they get here" Tobias says putting me on the stretcher

"I love you" I whisper holding onto his hand

"I love you too" he says back before we're separated.

The cold, strong, burning feeling is gone.

I don't feel anything....
