Chapter 16

Tris pov

Tobias and I... oh and Lindsey brought home a beautiful baby girl a few days ago.

Her name is Elena Marie Eaton and she's beautiful. The cutest thing ever. Hurt like hell pushing her out but it was worth it.

I sit in the living room slowly falling asleep while the baby eats. At first I wasn't used to the feeling of breast feeding because I did that over a year ago with Levi but now it feels normal.

When she's done eating, I burp her.

Tobias walks in with Lindsey who is still living here. When is she going to leave already, Tobias doesn't want her I know he doesn't.

"Hey" I say continuing to pat Elena's back

"Hey" Tobias says to me then grabs the baby from my hands

"There's daddy's little bug." Tobias says in his cute father baby voice.

"How was your day with mommy?" Tobias says rocking her back and forth

"Be careful she doesn't puke she just finished eating" I say and as I finish the last word Elena pukes all over Tobias.

I giggle and Tobias looks at Elena and laughs too.

"Hold her real quick" he says and I take her from him.

He takes off his shirt and drops it on the floor. I try not to stare but it's hard because the abs are amazing.

Something drops in the kitchen. We look over and Lindsey dropped her apple.

"I'm sorry" she says and quickly walks away

"How was work" I say grabbing Elena from his arms and cleaning her face with a wipe.

"Good. Nothing major today" he says

"I'm going to hop in the shower then i was thinking we could talk" He says and I nod

"Okay. I'll put Elena down for her nap" I say

Tobias and I stand in the kitchen sharing a bowl of ice cream.

"So what did you want to talk about" I say

"Us, I want to know where we stand" he says

"I love you and I know I left you & hurt you but please give me another chance. I left because I needed time, time to myself. I mean our son just died I didn't know what to feel" I say getting teary eyed

"So please pick me, choose me, love me" I say and he puts the ice cream down and comes closer to me.

He wipes my tears away and kisses my head.

"I love you so much" he says

"And I love you" I whisper

"I pick you. It's always been you. I guess what me and Lindsey had was never going to be what we had. She was a filler, someone I needed while you were gone. And I'm sorry, sorry I let us fall apart" he says and I stop him with a kiss

"You didn't make us fall apart" I say holding his cheek

"Does this mean we're still getting married" he says and I smile really big

"Yes, Yes. Yes" I say excitedly

I pull his face down and kiss him, he leans me against the kitchen counter and kisses me back with more force. I moan at his kisses. He rest his hands on my stomach and lifts my shirt up.

I pull away and he continues to kiss my neck.

"Did you tell Lindsey? I mean she's still living with us" I say

"I should go tell her" he says

"Yeah" I say

He gives me one last peck and goes to Lindsey's room.
