"Naruto, when we get to the place with the chackra signatures, save gaara and escape... We will not engage them... The are very powerful..."

Just what kushina feared, happened.
Naruto engaged one of the akatsuki, forcing them to engage the other.

Gaara lay unconscious. The sealing process had been stopped mid way and thus the chackra that had been removed from him had returned to him.
But he was out cold.

Naruto laughed like a maniac, as he took on the blonde haired akatsuki, wrecking a havoc.

"You know you can't beat us." The puppet master said to kushina, she was hiding behind one of the many blocks of earth that sakura had broken.
She was really pleased with what tsunade had made her.
"Your daughter will be captured soon."
Kushina appeared from behind her hiding place.
"As if you can...." She shouted angrily.
10,000 puppet hurled at her ready to kill.
Sakura gasped.
Chains shot out from kushina, impaling all at once.
The puppet master and sakura were shocked.
But Sakura was the first to recover.
She collected the blade that was nearby as she made a beeline for sasori.
She gave a war cry, as she impaled him, running his pumping system through.
"Such fools..."
Were his last words.
Both the konoha nins were panting.
"You should heal yourself." Kushina said pointing towards a wound Sakura had to her side.
"I will be fine... I think we should treat the kage."
"Hmm..." Kushina nodded.

"Damn it kid... You are amazing...
I will give you that..."
"Thanks for the compliment... But I can only be satisfied by your blood... Don't you see.... I am craving to spill your blood..."
The look of madness on naruto was terrifying....
Deidara feared the look. He had faced bloodlust before. But this was different. The look the boy posed was that of hunger. Hunger for blood.
He dodged a strike, escaping it by a hair.
He was panting, he was running out of clay.
He cursed.

"Seems, you still have tricks up your sleeve." Naruto said excited.
"Tsk" deidara was in a fix.
"Well, I do... An artist always has... I haven't even given you a taste of my superior art."
In response, naruto swung his sword. Releasing a burst of energy.
Deidara escaped it again, but he was not prepared for naruto waiting for him.
"GETSUGA TENSHO."
"What!!!"
Deidara was consumed in surge of energy from the sword.
Naruto stopped, not being able to sense deidara.
Deidara appeared on the ground, badly wounded and tired.
He was pissed.
"That's it!!"
Naruto looked at him.
"I will show you true art now."
Deidara struck his hands on the ground.
A huge bird came out of his hands.
It took flight and shot towards naruto.

Naruto smiled.
He shot towards the bird to cut it in half.

Deidara smiled.
"My art is an explosion."

Kushina and sakura watched surprised as the clay bird that consumed naruto exploded.

"NOOOO!!!" They shouted.

....

"Told you my art was an explosion."

"And I told you I crave your blood." A shrill cold voice said back, from the smoke.

"You are still alive?"

Kushina and sakura were relieved to hear that voice, they didn't like it but that voice meant that he was still alive.

The masked naruto emerged from the smoke, unharmed. His deadly eyes looking at his prey without any interest.

"Well, rest in peace." he said, as he released a red blast, engulfing deidara in it. When the smoke cleared, the place where deidara had been had caved in and he was gone, with no remaining trace.

The mask disappeared and naruto landed beside sakura.

"The kage?"

"He is safe." sakura replied.

"Don't scare us like that again."

"come on mom, you should know by now that such things can't kill me."

"Even then."

"Fine..."
