Annabeth didn't expect Triton to be such an easy knockout. One well placed blow to the face, and he crashed through a wooden table. Annabeth smiled, proud of herself, and Percy had to struggle to keep from laughing. Annabeth glanced at Thalia as Lover Boy from the movie Dirty Dancing came on, "Mind if we vanish?"

Thalia grinned. "Don't do anything that I wouldn't."

Annabeth grinned and grabbed Percy by the lapels of his jacket, dragging him into the midst of dancers. He clearly didnt expect it, because when she stopped, he practically fell on her. "You like Dirty Dancing?" He asked.

Annabeth smiled. "Its my favorite movie, and this is my favorite song... So, would you like to dance with me, Mr Jackson?"

"Yes I would, Miss Chase." Percy smirked, grabbing her by the hips, and she put her arms around his neck, and they started dancing.

Before the song even ended, the lace skirt of Annaneths dress, which was apparently removable, had come off, and Percy had lost his jacket somewhere. Annabeth smiled at him when the last beats played.

Of course, Percy wasn't as handsy or sexual as the guy in the scene, but it was still fun. Annabeth breathed heavily as Percy, somewhat shyly, let go of her leg. She giggled and kissed him as the song changed again, to a slower song, a country song in fact.

Every Storm Runs Outta Rain by Gary Allen began playing through the speakers near Annabeth and Percy, but they ignored it, lost in each other. Annabeth would have happily made up for two years of missed kisses, but Percy pulled away, pushing the hair that had fallen from her pony tail behind her ear. He wasnt hands during the dance, but he sure did play with her hair.

"Come on..." He whispered in her ear, barely loud enough for her to hear over the guitar strums of the song.

Percy grabbed her hand and pulled her through the groups of people until they reached the back of the room. He pulled her through a door and into a flight of stairs. "Up we go!"

Annabeth smiled and started climbing, the spund of the pounding music almost shaking the stairs.

Percy got to the top first, passing her quickly as they started, probably to not seem like he was staring at her butt. Annabeth smiled as he unlocked and opened a door that lead to the roof.

She walked out and smiled. Percy watched her as she walked to the edge, walking around the top of the building. "Its beautiful." Annabeth said, turning to look at him

He looked like he was going to say something cliche and cheesy, like 'Not as beautiful as you' or 'Just like you', but he didn't. Instead he stepped up to the edge and put his feet over the edge, as the music from downstairs hit the chorus.

"Percy! What are you doing?" Annabeth's eyes got wide. He looked like he might fall. She reached out and pulled him back by his arm. "Have you lost your mind?"

The look in his beautiful eyes surprised her. He was smiling at her, a gorgeous, happy smile. Her worry melted away as he spoke. "Wise Girl, I lost my mind when I lost you."

Annabeth smiled and kissed him again. "You're still a Seaweed Brain."

"I'm your Seaweed Brain." Percy pushed hair out of her face, watching her adoringly. Annabeth bit her lip as she stared into his eyes, the sound of the music below them shaking the concrete under their feet.

"I love you, Percy."

"I love you too, Annabeth."

She smiled and hugged him tightly, pressing herself close to him. He held her, arms around her waist in a nearly bone crushing hug. Annabeth felt him nuzzle her hair and giggled, "What are you doing?" She rested her hand on the back of his head, threading her fingers through his soft raven black hair.

"Trying to get the courage up to ask you to stay with me tonight." Annabeth smiled at his mumbled words and kissed the side of his head.

"Of course I will, Seaweed Brain." His arms tightened around her, and she felt his lips form a smile against her neck.

"I still can't believe you actually came back. I can't believe you never fell in love with someone else. Someone better than me."

"No one is better than you, Percy. Not to me." He looked at her, his eyes shining in the moonlight. Annabeth smiled at him adoringly, and leaned in slowly, titlting her head to the side.

Everything went quiet, from the pounding music resonating below them, to the mass sound of cars that traveled faintly from the city to the rooftop. The sounds of the waves crashing on the sand, and the pounding of their hearts, in sync with each other and the beat of the song that vibrated the floor, were the only sounds.

Their lips met and everything seemed to vanish from existence, except each other.

Neither of them noticed Thalia sitting on the stairs, cackling.
