Lucas' POV

She really was a freak.

I was just telling it how it was, the bitch was perfect and so was her life. She didn't have to worry about her future, she could be a brain surgeon if she wanted to, her parents were probably filthy rich because that's just how it usually goes with perfect girls, her parents were together and loved her, the teachers loved her. The only people that didn't like here were the students in our year because even though most of us wouldn't admit it, we were jealous.

I rolled my eyes and got up. I'd been in the library way too much recently. I would be talking to Blakely, because as unlikely as it sounded I kind of enjoyed talking to someone who didn't have sex, parties, alcohol or drugs on their mind. I still didn't like her, she was just the only person in this school apart from her garden gnome friend Emma who didn't want something from me, whether it be a good dealer, sex or a good party.

She was just so fucking annoying. I could tell she thought she was too smart to be talking to me, and I hated how she would ignore me sometimes. The walking out when I pointed out the truth, that she was a perfect spoiled bitch with a perfect life made me realized she was too much work. Who knew smart girls would be this irritating.

I had Geography, Maths then Socials after that, 2 of the three were with Bakely. I pretty much completely ignored her, not that she was trying to get my attention, she was probably glad actually, but that was me trying to make a point that I wasn't sorry for offending her by telling the truth.

It was finally the end of the day. I went to my locker with Alex and Nathen to get my bag.
"So we're all going to James' party right?" Alex asked. "I'm down. What about you man?" Nathen asked me.
"Nah, I've got a something else on" I sighed. I didn't feel like mentioning it was my job at a coffee shop that no one but Blakely knew about.

"Something more important than booze and half naked bitches?" Nathen asked.
"Yeah, actually, why don't you guys ask Chris?" I suggested when we got to my locker.
"Fuck no" Nathen said.
"Hey, don't forget you fucked his girlfriend. Don't act like you have anything to be mad about" Alex reminded him.

"Yeah well he's become so fucking boring. You know he actually likes what's her face? Blake or whatever" Nathen laughed.
"He likes her?" I asked opening my locker door, "why?"
"He said she's not like other girls or something I don't know" Nathen shrugged.
"So you mean, he likes her? Like genuine feelings? That's fucking gross, she's an annoying stuck up bitch" I said.

Alex opened his mouth to say something but closed it when he saw Blakely standing across from us. I didn't really care. Or at least, I wouldn't have if she was anyone else, I mean, I didn't give two fucks about her feelings, but her face was so innocent and she did look hurt.

Something fell out of my locker which got everyone's attention.
It was my fucking uniform for the coffee shop I worked at. It was in my bag but I guess it came out and went into my locker when I was getting my books or something.

"Is that a uniform?" Alex laughed raising an eyebrow. Nathen picked it up but I snatched it from him. "Dude, you have a fucking job?" Alex laughed, "why?"
I wasn't sure what to say. Apparently I didn't need to be either.
A pair of small pale hands took the uniform from me, "thanks for keeping it for me Lucas" Blakely smiled.

She looked at Alex and Nathen, "I didn't have any room in my locker" she nodded at her completely full open locker, "I gotta get the money to fix Adrens keying somewhere right".
"You have a job?" Nathen asked.
"Yeah" she nodded, "anyway, I should probably  go" she turned closed her locker then walked away.
