Lucas' POV
I got home from baseball training at 6pm and what I walked into was not pretty. Mr Harris and my mom were sitting in the living room, talking out loud and laughing while Blakely was no where to be seen but her car was still here.

"Hi honey!" Mom exclaimed looking up at me.
"Where's Blakely?" I asked scanning the house once more. My mom sighed and turned her whole body so she was facing me, "she's in her room, and she did see me and Frank, she knows but I'm sure she was just shocked. It'll be fine".

I felt as if my eyes were going to pop out of their sockets, "she knows?!"
"It's fine Lucas, she didn't seem too phased. I'm sure she'll be fine" mom reassured me.
"Obviously she didn't seem phased! You don't know this mom but Mr Harris does, Blakely's best friend Emma really wanted to be school captain but was disqualified by him for basically nothing, I on the other hand got to stay up even after getting suspended because he's dating you! I don't know what's going through her mind right know but she sure as hell is phased".

Mom looked at Mr Harris who just shrugged. I rolled my eyes then rushed up the stairs and stopped outside Blakely's room. I knocked a couple of times and waited for a few seconds. When there wasn't an answer I opened the door a crack and poked my head in, I couldn't see her from where I was so I pushed the door open even further and stepped in.
"Blakely?"

Her room was freakishly clean apart from the books and papers strewn across her desk. I walked towards it and glanced over the pages. It was all ancient history work, she had taken notes in her book and I couldn't help laughing.

"What?" Her irritated voice asked.
I looked up and was shocked to see her standing in the doorway of her bathroom with nothing but a white towel wrapped around her body.

"Shit, sorry" I mumbled turning around so I was facing the wall rather than her. "What are you doing in here Lucas" she sighed. I could hear her moving around the room but I didn't dare look.

"I was looking for you, I wanted to talk to you about Mr Harris" I explained.
I wasn't quite sure because I didn't see it, but I could've sworn I heard her laugh, "you call him Mr Harris? What about dad" she mumbled the last part but I only just heard it.

"It's not like that" I sighed, "and it's not what you probably think it is, I didn't ask him to give me the school captaincy, I really didn't even want it".

"So why'd you nominate yourself" she asked pulling the dresser door open.
I ran my fingers through my hair as I tried to figure out how to answer that without answering it, "I don't know" I mumbled.
"You don't know?" She laughed without any humor, "or you just don't want to tell me?"

"Maybe I should leave and come back when you're dressed so we can talk properly?" And so I could have a chance to think of a believable story.

"No need, I'm done" she said close behind me.
I glanced over my shoulder to make sure and sure enough she was. I turned around completely and leant back against her desk then folded my arms as I examined her appearance. Her usually perfect brushed hair was a damp mess which framed her small pale face and she was wearing a pair of black shorts under a long white T shirt.

The only other time I'd ever seen her looked this messy was back when she wasn't sleeping for some reason. Although, she did always manage to pulled it off somehow.

"So?" She asked folding her arms and taking a small step back.
"Blakely can we not do this?" I groaned.
"Ok" she said throwing her hands up, "get out".
"You can't be upset about this" I took a couple of steps towards her but she walked to the door and held it open for me, "go".

"I didn't-"
"Fine, I'll go!" She yelled storming out of the room and slamming the door behind her.
I flinched at the loud bang the door made and stared at the door in absolute shock. I could understand her being upset but I couldn't get why she was this upset. Maybe she was still on her period or something?
I followed after her and made sure to close the door more quietly than she had then I rushed downstairs and outside after her.

"Lucas I don't want to talk to you right now" she said pulling her car door open.
"I don't get what the big deal is, why are you reacting like this?" I asked. She stepped into her car and slammed the door again before starting the car.

I walked around to the passengers side and opened the door before she reached for the button to lock it.
"Blakely talk to me, please" I asked holding the door open so she wouldn't drive away. A small part of me wondered if she'd still drive anyway, judging by how pissed she looked.

"I don't want to talk to you! All I ever do is talk to you! But you never talk to me Lucas!" She yelled slapping her hands down on the wheel.
I frowned and stepped into the car, receiving a loud sigh from Blakely.

"Lucas, I know absolutely nothing about you. I mean, I know that you worked at a cafe and you don't want anyone to know. That's it, whereas you know my entire life story! I trust you with everything and I just feel like it's one way!"

"That's not true!" I rolled my eyes. Was that it? She was being ridiculous.
"Tell me one thing other than the cafe thing that you've told me about yourself" she said turning her torso to face me.
I opened my mouth to shoot something back but I couldn't think of anything quickly enough.

I sat there for about half a minute with my mouth slightly open as I tried to think of anything else I'd told Blakely about myself. Nothing came to mind.
"Exactly" she snapped.
"Well you're not my girlfriend! Why do you want to know everything about me?! You don't need to insert yourself into my life just because we don't hate each other anymore. Jeez" I sighed.

Blakely blinked a couple of times before nodding slowly, "I see" she mumbled.
"You do?" I asked.
"Yeah, I do...and I'm moving back out".
"What?" I frowned, "Blakely you do not need to overreact like this".

"No, I'm not overreacting" she shook her head, "if only you knew Lucas".
"Knew what?"
"It doesn't matter. Get out of my car" she said pulling her seatbelt on. I was so sick of her random mood swings, she wasn't explaining to me what the problem was, what the hell was I supposed to do?

I slid out of the car and as soon as I was on the ground she moved the car out of the driveway and sped off to god knows where. I had no clue what I did wrong but something told me I wouldn't see her in a while.
