"Hey Y/N, would you mind...uh, helping me with stacking the wood piles later?" Gally asked, scratching his head.
"Um, I guess I can help with that." You said hesitantly. Gally always picked on you, poking and prodding you when you weren't expecting it. He dumped handfuls of grass in your hair sometimes. As far as you know, you thought he didn't like you.
"Okay. Cool, yeah...I'll meet you in the deadheads after lunch?" Gally said.
"Yeah. Sounds good." You gave him a small smile, and then Alby called you from across the glade.
"Sorry, I've gotta go. I'll talk to you after lunch then." You smiled, jogging away. Gally stood there, a dorky smile on his face for one of the first times.
"Psst. How'd it go?" Frypan asked, peeking his head out from around the storage hut.
"She said yes." He smiled. Frypan whistled, giving Gally a fist bump.
"Nice job, man." He paused.
"You finally gonna tell her that you like her?" Fry pan asked. Gally sighed.
