I squeeze whatever was holding my hand.

I open my eyes and see Tamaki sleeping peacefully next to me. I smile and gaze at him. I carefully push his hair back and his eyes flutter open.

"Oh... Did I wake you?" I say and he smiles.

"No... It's fine." He caresses my cheek. "I never knew how great it would be to wake up and see you next to me first thing in the morning." He whispers and pulls me in.

He wraps his arms around my waist and runs his hand up and down my bare back. "Tamaki..." I close my eyes and nuzzle my face into his chest.

Ba-dum. Ba-dum.

I hear his heart beat and my face grows hot from happiness.

I'm so happy...

I look up at him and kiss his chin. He looks down at me and smiles lovingly. We kiss but I can't help but feel guilty.

Now I've done it. I have to die or his soul is mine.

Tamaki pulls away. "Ana-hime... You're crying." He wipes my tears and I shake my head.

"It's fine..."

"Ana-"

"Just... Shut up okay?" I say and he nods obediently.

We continue to kiss.

No. I don't regret falling in love with him.

"It looks great on you." Tamaki says as he smiles down at me.

"Thanks." I smile up at him and look back down at the diamond ring on my left hand, ring finger.

"To be honest..." Tamaki stops and turns to me and take my hand. "I think diamond is boring." He shrugs.

"Boring?" I tilt my head.

He pulls his hand away and rummages through his pocket. He pulls out a small navy blue velvet box.

"I want to do this my way." He opens the box and I see an emerald ring.

"Emerald?"

"Emerald is said to bring you happiness based on wisdom and... It reminded me of your eyes..." He takes the other ring off and replaces it with the emerald ring.

"Tamaki..." My eyes grow hot.

"I know it may seem like we're going a bit too fast but... We don't have time so... Let's do what we can with this small amount of time... Let's make a lifetime worth of memories with this time... Together." He says lovingly as he tucks my hair behind my ear.

"I love you so much!" I cry into his shoulder.

"I love you most." He rubs my back as I cry.

Murmur murmur

I hear the students murmur as I walk down the hallway hand in hand with Tamaki.

"Aww they're so cute."

"Hey, look at her left hand."

"No way!"

Tamaki squeezes my hand and we enter the club room.

"Hey you two!" Miya greets as she hands Honey cake.

"Oh, hey you guys. We haven't seen you two all day." Haruhi says as she enters with a tray of tea in her hands.

They still don't know.

"Heeey." I say and take a seat next to Mori.

"Yeah we were just... Hanging out?" Tamaki says.

I mentally face palm and the twins eye us suspiciously. "Just 'hanging out'" They smirk.

"Queer." Miya says as she plays with Honey's hair.

"What's that?" Kyoya says as he looks at my direction.

"Hm?" I follow his gaze and see the ring. "Oh!"

"What?!" The twins gasp.

"What is that?!" Miya runs over to me and starts inspecting the ring.

"Is it real silver?!" Hikaru cries out as he bites his nail furiously.

Miya licks the silver.

"What the...?!"

"Real!" She calls out.

"Real stone?!" Kaoru clings onto his brother.

Miya then bites the emerald.

"M-Miya!"

"Real!!" She says again and they gasp.

"Two reals!!" Honey gasps.

"Stone?!" The twins say and hug each other in anticipation.

"...Emerald?" Miya says and their shoulders droop.

"So not an engagement ring?" Haruhi says and Miya nods as she sniffles.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Tamaki strides to me and pushes Miya's face away. "I-It is an engagement ring." He says and they gasp again.

Dear lord.

"Then why is it an emerald?!" Miya throws her arms up.

"D-Diamonds are boring..." Tamaki says and they tilt their heads.

"It's a secret." I wink and their eyes widen.

"No way!!!" They huddle around us.

"So when's the wedding?" Kaoru smirks.

"Three weeks." Tamaki answers and they gasp... AGAIN.

"Woah dude! So soon!"

"Yeah..." Tamaki shrugs.

"Awesome!" The trio and Honey high-five.

"Okay so, bridemaid... Right?" Miya says and I shrug.

"Uh sure."

"We'll deal with him." The twins drag Tamaki away.

"Dude this'll be huge! Think about it. 'Princess Anakaia and Prince Tamaki! The royal wedding of the century!' So cool!" Miya says excitedly.

"Actually we were thinking of having it private."

"Wow you guys are moving fast huh?" Haruhi chuckles.

"They're in looove." Miya twirls. "I'm so excited!!!" Miya squeals.

"Me too!" Haruhi giggles.

"We have to get Haruhi a boyfriend! She-"

Haruhi slaps Miya before she could even finish.

"Hey!! Cut it out!" Haruhi huffs.

"Haruhi~"

I giggle as I watch them.

I look back down at the ring and smile.

My life is purposely trying to fuck me up... Isn't it?
