43. Lurking into Damon's Head

Jake woke up next morning. He thought he can go and see the siren. She's been a bitch since a long time. He watched through the bars and saw Damon on the floor.

He rushed in and saw Damon’s eyes opened and he wasn’t responding. Jake looked at siren.
Jake- what did you do?
Sybil- I made him turn it on.
Jake- what happened to him?
Sybil- I don't know.

Jake took Damon to the hall and placed him in the chair. 
Jake- Damon? Brother you there? 
Front door opened and Bonnie and Caroline entered.
Jake- what are you both doing here?
Caroline- to see Sybil.

Bonnie- what happened to him?
Jake- I went to basement this morning and I found him like a zombie there. She told me that she made him turn it all on. Then it must be hitting him hard like a bomb and now…
Bonnie- get in his head and find out what’s going on in there.

Jake nodded still not liking to evade his brother’s privacy. He touch his hand and entered in to see Damon on fire and he was screaming. He pulled back.
Caroline- what happened?
Jake- there was fire and pain.
Bonnie- let's ask her what she did to him. See, he is in pain.
They saw a tear making it's way through his eyes.

Sybil entered in Damon's head and then pulled back with a frown.
Sybil- he thinks he is in hell and he deserve it.
Jake- but it was your fault. You did that.
Sybil- he was weak to give in.
Jake- my brother is not weak, you heard me!
Sybil- you tell him that and convince him to start over. You will need to talk to him.

Jake entered inside Damon's head and saw Liz. He opened his eyes.

Jake- Caroline, I saw your mom, you wanna see her?
She nodded.
Bonnie- will my grams will be there?
Jake- hop in.

They all entered inside older vampire's head. 
Jake- see. You go there. We’ll find Damon.
She nodded. 

Bonnie- so you have your humanity back on?
Jake- shut up.
Bonnie smiled.

They saw Vickey.
Bonnie- Vickey! j
Jake- Matt’s sis.
Bonnie- yeah.
Vickey- what Bonnie?
Bonnie- have you seen Damon Salvatore? How did you got hurt?
Vickey- it was nothing. An animal bite.
Jake ripped it off to see a normal bite.
Jake- weird.
Vickey left cursing.

Bonnie- let's go to see my grams house. 
They went at Sheila Bennett's house. They talked to Sheila.
Shiela- so Jake.
Jake- yes she…
Sheila- I’m not your classmate kid.
Jake- look at you… being all old and bossy.

Bonnie- we need to do a locator spell.
They did and went to the crypt to be confronted by Tyler. 
Bonnie- I know how this works.
Bonnie disappeared.

Jake- Bonnie, Bonnie where are you? 
He sighed and looked at Damon’s name inside the crypt. Tears leaked out of the green orbs. He had his humanity back since he saw Stefan brutally killing people and Damon dead of Stefan’s hands.

He sat on the bench. Then he heard a voice. Stefan? He went out to see Stefan talking to Damon.
Stefan- come on Damon, let's go. Jake, you too.

Jake- what are you doing here? Stefan- I was told that I have to talk to him.
Damon- hello brothers.
Both turned.
Stefan- nice gargoyle bro.
Jake- Damon!
Damon- hey buddy.

Jake- we were finding you whole day.
Damon- I know.
Stefan- I am stopping by to tell you that I forgive you and we are cool. We need to go now. Come on.
Damon- you are not here to forgive me Stefan, you are here so that I can forgive you.

Stefan- I have nothing to apologize for.
Damon- why are you always there to clean my mess, to make sure I never die and crap. Come on. I have never said this Stefan, but I forgive youfor making me what I am.

Stefan punched Damon. Jake went and pulled him back.
Jake- Stefan back off!
Damon- there’s a crazy vampire on lose in my mind Stefan and that is you. I absolve you of all the things I have done. It's always been you Stefan, so again, I forgive you.

Stefan- I will kill you.
Damon- you are both my brothers kids, I love you both, I really do and there’s nothing anyone can do ever to change that.
Stefan- is that so?
Jake- Damon…

Stefan- I dare you both to forgive me because I’m burning Mystic Falls to the ground. I’m sorry that I tried to save you both and I had little shred of humanity to save you. But now I don’t care. You are both…

Stefan disappeared.
Jake- he’s way to far gone Damon.
Damon- (smiled) but we can always bring him back kiddo.
He hugged Jake. 

Damon and Jake woke up and Damon grabbed Stefan’s heart.
Damon- you were right little brother, we can't forgive you for destroying our home town.
He snapped his neck.

Damon- Jake, deal with him, I will be back.
Jake smiled and nodded. Damon left.
Sybil- your brother is a bastard.
Jake- I’m sure he is.
Sybil- he stabbed me in the back. I thought Stefan was helping me.

Jake- he did that to everyone, no need to be surprised. You helped Damon making us monsters.
Bonnie- what will Damon do now?
Jake- he’s perfectly in saving Stefan mode.
Bonnie- so you three had it all worked out?
Jake nodded. 

He chained Stefan to chair when he came back to life.
Stefan- don’t you come up with something new? You are just like Klaus, old fashioned.
Jake- his blood runs in our veins Stefan.

Caroline entered.
Stefan- hello Caroline.

Jake- Caroline, what are you doing here?

Caroline- I was talking about you.

Caroline left stomping her feet.

Jake- take a nap.

Jake headed to hall to see Damon entering in.
Damon- I saw Caroline leaving.

Damon- you should think about it again.
Jake- no. I don’t want her in my life. She have children Damon. I have both of you. I’m ready to leave her if I get to be with both of you.
Damon- you are hurting her.

Jake- when we started dating, I had warned her that I will choose yoi both above her and she shouldn’t pout about it ever.
Damon- uh… how’s Stefan?
Jake- bratty.
Damon- he’ll be back on track soon.
Jake nodded.
Jake- you should go to sleep you know? You must be tired.
