Chapter 20: Pack of Fookianleos

This is Ayesha Miller, the Queen of all Magic, Wicked Witch of Jade Island mother of Fiona Miller wife of Davis Miller.^

This is Ian the faithful servant of Ayesha Miller, his mother is in prison with Tyler she is the Queen of the south of Jade Island.^

This is Damien the younger half brother of Ian.^

Aren and Persephone woke up in a cave they were chained. The sorcerer giggles she finally had the hero the prophecy said.
"I must admit you really are handsome." As she gazed. Aren was looking at a bottle in her shelf. It was large and it looks like a potion. The witch noticed so she gets it and shown it to Aren. "I need you to-"
The with noticed Aren was gone. He vanished when she was about to go near him. "Persephone! Where is he?!"She was shocked that he disappeared. Remember that Karine's can only be seen by death? The Sorcerer herself has not seen death yet. She did not know Aren has transformed and will slowly discover his power against her.
"Oh, my potion! Why did it fell? Good thing it's not broken!"
Persephone, on the other hand, though he transforms into something. What did he transform into?
"What is your name Sorcerer?"
It was not easy giving her identity since she is the mother of Fiona. "I cannot tell you." She quickly gets the potion on the floor not knowing it was Aren. Aren transformed back to the normal state and left the witch's hand. "Where did my potion go?" Then Aren went back to being human. "Aren?" Persephone was surprised as he ran away. "You! Stop right there!" Aren continued to run for he needs the Jewel to defeat her. He is not worried that he might die he is still brave enough to fight her. Persephone struggles as she is chained up. Ian went into the room he saw Persephone. He thinks she is beautiful and he wanted to rape her. But he must obey the witch's orders he must not touch her unless she drank the love potion. The witch wanted him to control Persephone. Persephone then felt water dripping on top of her head. That meant they are not in Jade Island since there are only a few bodies of water there and no one has it in their home. Karine's drink blood, not water.
Now how will Aren get the Jewel? The witch caught him he suddenly noticed she had a wand and threatened him that she will kill him.
Persephone was not in a good situation since Ian is touching her. He smells her hair it smells like the sea. He then started to kiss her lips. Persephone is crying. The witch then came into the room, pointing Aren's back with her wand. She made him enter a cage made of glass with no gaps it was like a perfectly shaped dome with roots and vines surrounding the top. Aren saw Ian molesting Persephone he felt guilty that he cannot protect her from him. "PERSEPHONE!" He cried it hurts him to see her like that. Tears of blood running down from his eyes. He saw Ian almost ripped her clothing but the witch stops him. "Not, for now, Ian, I'm terribly sorry that you must stop molesting her." He then looked at the witch. " I was just having fun. Plus brother and I have plans for Persephone ." He left the room and Aren was relieved he did not rape her. Aren noticed Persephone was crying dark blue tears. Is she a Mermaid? He then noticed something weird about the witch
She was wearing winter gloves it was not cold at all. He is worried about what is their plan for Persephone? Will they torture her?? He then sat down on the floor he noticed it was quite hot. He wondered what is the witch doing. Persephone then noticed her tears were forming a big Jewel. Even Aren was surprised that his question to himself was answered. She is a half Mermaid but her tears never formed into a Jewel before. Aren then placed his hand on the thick glass of the dome it melted slowly. The witch was reading her spell book for different Jewels she did not notice Aren is about to escape. He snapped his fingers and disappears out of sight only Persephone can see him since she saw how her mother and father died. Aren gets the keys out of the witch's pocket carefully. He wasn't that successful since the Sorcerer felt something in her pocket. So he removed his hands swiftly. He then saw duplicate keys behind the witch on a table. He gets it he ran towards her and frees Persephone.

They both have not found a way out of that place and the witch noticed both of them are missing. She called Ian and Damien to find their prisoners.
But Aren and Persephone found a way out. They saw a handle and pull it when it opened a secret passage it was a brick wall which slides up to open. The color was subtle. The hole seems to lead nowhere it was full of color and brightness and because of that they both decide it was safe but they were wrong. There is Fookianleos, a creature with four eyes ahead of lioness ears so pointy and hairy. It has a small horn in the middle of its forehead, claws sharp and deadly in one scratch. It has a body of a bear and feet with hooves like a horse. It is the protectors of the gate going outside only the witch knows what to do and she is one of their leaders besides from Ian and Damien. Some just call them Leo and many are amazed and terrified of this creature. When Aren went inside the scenery changed it became a garden, not a blank space any more. They suddenly heard roars it frightened them and they saw Fookianleos as a pack. Their leader comes near them and smells them. They saw the leader has something he is holding with his mouth. It is like a calculator. <It reads: Decode our password each mistake and we will hurt you. You have 3 chances to get it correct.>
Aren thought of a code Persephone whispered. "These Leos might kill us."
He pressed 233176 he was wrong and the Fookianleos growled they tried to scratch him but he was able to move away. They tried again and scratched Aren on his chest. He bled badly and drops the small gadget then Persephone got scared for him he blacked out and she catches him from fainting. Blood came out from his wounds and his mouth she is afraid to lose him. Persephone gets the calculator she pressed the buttons: 435227. The Fookianleos stopped blocking their way and left. "You said you won't leave me!" Persephone cried she held the Mermaid's Jewel in her hand and placed it on Aren. "I will never leave you-" Persephone was sitting on the floor as Aren's head was on her lap. "Whatever happens I love you forever Persephone." He smiled and he slept on her lap. Persephone smiled she loved him too but can't handle the truth that he might die. She noticed the Jewel glowing very bright and it cured his wounds slowly for an hour. Ian and Damien saw them and tried to run after them. It was too late since they both escaped at once.
