Chapter 2~

Rebels pov~
It was around midnight
I wake up and get dressed (picture above). Then put wizs pokeball on a necklace and put it around my neck. I then grab my bag and my journal falls out but I don't notice and put my bag on my shoulder and I leave my room with wiz in my arms and I walk into my dads room and he was asleep his arms holding my mom close while she was sleeping softly on his chest and I smile they were always perfect for each other. I then get out a pencil and a peace of ripped paper and write them a note dear mom and dad
I'm leaving and I don't know when I will be back but I need to get stronger and prove that I'm not just a useless freak... I need to prove to myself that I'm strong... or at least strong enough to consider myself daughter of the champion and team skulls boss... and tell plumeria that I'm sorry I wasn't a good enough friend and that I will miss her... oh one last thing I promise to make you proud.
I fold the paper and set it on the desk beside there bed and I walk out and I leave po town. I arrive at the nearest Pokémon center at around 2:39 and I get a room and lay on the bed and I look for my journal but I can't find it. I then sigh I guess I lost it somewhere o well maybe someone will return it... I change into some pjs and try to get some sleep.

The next day

I wake up and change back into my regular clothes. Then check out of the room and I go to ula ula beach and I see a poster that says that there was a contest going on to see who could get the most points on a one way trip to mele mele beach. Maybe I should try it I think to myself. I look back at the poster and see that there was a reward of 20,000 poke dollars (or whatever there called) and I smile that would be really useful right now since I'm low on cash, so I decide to enter the competition. I walk up to the person who was in charge and I enter the competition. And I change into the suit ( the suit that you wear when riding mantine) and I wait for my name to be called. About ten minutes later my name is called and I get on mantine and I start to surf. I have to admit it was the most I have had in a while. I did a bunch of flips and spins and I arrive at mele mele beach and get off of the mantine and I change back into my clothes and wait for the winners to be announced then I hear the announcer

Announcer: third place winner is hau
Second place is moon and the first place winner rebel

I look at him shocked and see who Im guessing is hau and moon running up to me and my ears go down and I look away

Moons pov~
I wanted to meet the girl who came in first place and so did hau. So we run up to her and and we notice that she was a rockruff pokehuman and that her ears go down so she must be scared or shy
Hey I'm moon i say with a smile and hau introduces himself and she looks at us shocked like she didn't expect a nice greeting. What's your name? I ask her and she mutters something. What? I ask she then looks at me I'm rebel why do you want to know? She asks. Because I wanna be your friend and so does hau. I say with a smile and she looks at me in disbelief you wanna be my friend? Are you sure you wanna be friends with a freak like me? I grab her hand of course I don't think your a freak she gives me a small smile you are the first one besides my parents and my best friend to say that. We then go collect her prize money and she decides to buy all three of us a malasada and when we got done eating it was already 3:08 and I offered to go with her to train and maybe catch a few Pokémon with her so she could try and do the island trials so we head to route 2 with our trusted Pokémon beside us ready to start training to be the best
