Next morning, Huang Ren was found practicing his sword techniques. After breakfast Huang Ren soon found Su Ming and challenged her to another match which ended just as quick as the previous match. At least this time, Huang Ren was still conscious and had his wounds treated. At lunch, Huang Ren challenged Su Ming to another match and lost. The trend continued after every meal. Soon, another roar was heard throughout the region. This roar symbolized that the beast tide would arrive with a few hours. Lan Long and the group was calm, Huang Ren was slightly startled but regained his cool as he heard a giggle from Su Ming. The mountains in front of the village, although stable but were soon covered with various beasts that looked like ant coming out of an ant hill from the current distance.

As the beast came closer, the ground began to vibrate. A few stones fell and a few of the cup and that littered the sideways broke. The monsters were barely a thousand kilometers away, the villagers were safe hidden, all the cultivators were lined in front of the barricades. The beasts were like a wave of water hitting the shore, they didn't come at a single area, rather blanketed the entire region.

"Listen up, Jiang Long, Su Ming, and Huang Ren, the goal is to kill a minimum of 10,000 beasts. Succeed and I will give you a great weapon." Lan Long took out the hamster and placed him on his shoulder. "Little Kong, you will provide assistance on my command. UNDERSTOOD?" Lan Long yelled in a loud voice.

"Got it." The three replied in a unison. They had already come to accept Lan Long as their leader.

"Now, attack with the least amount of Ki and make every strike count." Lan Long said as he turned quiet. The only sound that was now heard was a constant rumble of beasts charging straight at them.

500 meters. . .

400 meters. . .

300 meters. . .

200 meters. . .

100 meters. . .

BOOM

A loud explosion took place at mid Ki sea realm artist let loose a wide range attack. Jiang Long charged in to the horde slaughtering every beast in his way. Su Ming was passive as she only engaged beast that were attacking her. Huang Ren however, was the flashiest of them all. His huge sword swung and cleaved straight through at least 10 beasts every time. His huge stature and loud yells were almost too visible on the battle field. Some lone cultivators were soon swarmed and were reduced to a defensive line, while a few lone cultivators shined as them swept straight through. A Jing clan party threw a smoke bomb of sorts and covered a huge area with thick smoke. This was a special type of smoke designed to induced mild headache with in many types of beasts. The smoked beast soon turned slow and ever captured by the group in hundreds. Soon, a party of elders from Ming clan arrived accompanying many disciples. This further reduced the stress from the fighters. The Long clan elders would constantly send out attack to prevent their disciples from death.

The stress factor was not an issue to Jiang Long and the others as they were aiming to kill 10,000 beasts. Lan Long had declared a reward of a 'great weapon', Su Ming had seen Lan Long dis regard for a Top earth weapon, she immediately assumed that the reward was of an even higher quality and fought with all her strength. Jiang Long although didn't care much for the incentive, he too wanted to see the reward. Huang Ren didn't care or the reward but he wanted to impress Su Ming by killing more beasts then her. He would finally get her to apologies for the abuse he suffered from her hands.

Soon, an hour had passed. The fight was still ongoing but many cultivators had retired. Almost half the younger generation was out of Ki, hence they retreated to recover. Mostly all the weaker lone cultivators were dead as they didn't have anyone to have their back. Jiang Long was still killing like a machine, other Ki condensing cultivators were baffled by the Ki reserves he had. Su Ming was still on the passive style of battle, she had used the least Ki out of the three due to her precision. Huang Ren was the most Ki abusive fighter but his royal background had ensured him higher endurance due to a larger Ki reserve than his peers. His Late Level Ki condensing realm cultivation also supported his Ki usage. Comparatively, he had used almost the same amount of Ki as Jiang Long.
